I guess the actual answer is: it doesn't matter. Enabling the 24p mode means the 24p function will only kick in if the content is 24fps compatible.
As it happens, 3D movies on blu-ray will mostly be 1080p24 (with frame packing to provide the image for each eye), so having the 24p mode on would be preferred. |

I have that question as well since my projector is the Acer 5360 and I have to use DLP link. I thought that meant it output at 720p/60fps, so wouldn't I be better off without 24 fps to reduce flicker?
I thought it was best to match the output/synch on the glasses. Thanks |

yeah, It depends on the source content. If it was shot in 24p, then 3D 24p should automatically kick in
