Found a copy for 12 bucks of the Lions Gate Version and just had to buy it. I heard copies of Ebay go for 50-60 bucks, so 12 for the OOP special features is so worth it.

MOST of these features were recorded at a horror convention, MonsterMania, that I was at and met most of the cast and Dekker. I actually met Kiger and the last two Monsters last fall as well. My poster really only needs the parents and Bud Bundy's little brother and its pretty much done...unless the lesser parts ever do some shows.

Can't wait to rewatch it all again. Such a great movie. I was so sad it left with the rest of my dvd collection.

I received my Olive Films version of the film yesterday. I was comparing it to the 20th anniversary edition, I have both the 2 disc blu version and the standard 2 disc DVD version. I just noticed that the 20th Blu was issued by Lionsgate w/ their logo on the case and disc, but the 20th standard 2 disc was issued with Republic pictures logo on case and disc. Does anyone know why that was?

Out of all of these, the VHS artwork is still the best

If you are talking about the Lionsgate/Maple one, then yes it is the same.

The Canadian Olive release is also the same to its US counterpart.

If I have to plunge down $20 just to get the Lionsgate blu-ray, i'll happily do so.

I ain't getting that bare bones Olive reissue. No way, Josť.

I live in the state that looks like a mitten

I got the Lions gate disc back when it first came out and it was less than $8 but I sold it not knowing it would go OOP. When I found out it was OOP, facepalm, and saw the prices on Amazon around $60.

I didn't bother with the Olive version when Best Buy had it on sale for $11. The omission of special features was the main reason.

However, earlier this summer I found the good version in a used media store for $12 and picked it up right away. A week later I was at another used media store in a different town and found another copy for $8.
