Would love to get Prophecy the monster movie and Dragonslayer on blu. Warner isn't very fast releasing their own back catalog so I'm not holding my breath.

I'd be more excited if VIRTUOSITY wasn't a title that hadn't already been released seemingly everywhere but the U.S. What's next for Warner -- ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ? That's out everywhere but here too. lol

Really Warner ought to license out some of the titles they have no interest in, that they're holding hostage and will never issue on Blu-Ray. One of the smaller labels would love to have them -- and so would we!

Just noted that Warner re-released the Gallipoli SCE on DVD last year and a BD is now being released in Oz. But no Stateside BD. When was the last time we had a new slate of releases from this Par/Warner deal announced? Was it when Talented Mr. Ripley was announced?

You're aware of the (Region free) UK release, yes? We've arguably passed the point wherein, if a title is available someplace else in the world, it makes more sense to 'import' than to continue waiting for a domestic release. I hardly think Par and/or Warner (or any other studio at this point) is/are waiting for 4k BD for many (most?) of these deep catalog titles.

Thanks but I'm aware of when Ripley was released. My question was have we seen Warner announce a slate of new titles from this deal since? It seems like there's only been random single titles announced (like Virtuosity) for over a year now instead of, say, five titles getting announced for release at a time.

And the original three-year announced term of this arrangement is six months away from ending . . .

I misread that sentence.

Yes, it seems the number of Paramount titles being released in groups has steadily decreased over time. I went back and looked at the database and this is what is shown excluding rereleases (although I might have missed one or two):

Code:
07 Jul 2015 Virtuosity
30 Jun 2015 Vanilla Sky (rescheduled multiple times)
20 Jan 2015 War and Peace
14 Oct 2014 Zoolander
16 Sep 2014 Congo
09 Sep 2014 The Addams Family
09 Sep 2014 Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
08 Apr 2014 Funny Face
08 Apr 2014 Sabrina
11 Mar 2014 El Dorado
11 Mar 2014 Gunfight at the O.K. Corral
11 Mar 2014 Hatari!
04 Feb 2014 Death Wish
04 Feb 2014 Stop-Loss
03 Dec 2013 EuroTrip (DreamWorks)
03 Dec 2013 Serpico
03 Dec 2913 Terms of Endearment
15 Nov 2013 Surviving Christmas (DreamWorks)
08 Oct 2013 Airplane II: The Sequel
08 Oct 2013 Internal Affairs
08 Oct 2013 Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life

Thank for taking the time to gather that info.

So they've released three at a time a couple of times, the last time being last September (if, for the sake of discussion, we call everything that month the "same" time). And they've not repeated four-in-a-month since shortly after launch.

I suppose the even bigger issue is that we're looking at about 30 (?) titles total released over as many months? 600 was the number mentioned when this deal was announced. Not a promising pace, even if we go back to 2013.
