In early '11 I upgraded to an LG BD550 for my living room. At first it was a great player but over time it has become a headache as updating it has not been working properly, my movies freeze up periodicly & randomly, & if I stop a movie to finish later it almost never resumes where it left off unless it's a regular dvd.
Now i've begun doing some research on wifi enabled players & it seems these type of players update much easier vs my 550 (done by putting the update on a flash drive and plugging it in). My next question is has anyone had a blu ray player that does not resume playback or perhaps I picked up that one in a mil that's a junker? I feel i'd be better off replacing it with a newer model player. Can anybody recommend a good player that won't have such issues i've mentioned? I'd like to find one in the $80-110 range & I don't do 3D, streaming, etc I just need a reliable disc player. any info will be appreciated. Last edited by bluDJ; 01-02-2013 at 03:29 PM. |
