Be prepared to cry out in joy for the very very long 3D awesomeness at the beginning.

Received today. It is the full Bluray 3D, Bluray and Ultra Violet combo pack. Did not have the lenticular slip cover though.

Watched this earlier today and thought it was great. It's a fun ride and the 3D is excellent. Nice depth, numerous pop-outs, and amazing PQ.

Since it's only $15 at Best Buy, I'll give it a try. Hopefully the 3D is above average.

I thought the 3D of this movie was really good, great pop outs but it was more about the depth which was great. The best scenes in the movie are definitely the bridge collapse & the plane exploding, which looked just as terrifying as I thought they would. The movie was definitely a much different and more terrifying experience in 3D, it's very well worth the money and would definitely recommend getting this to anyone.

I'll have to watch this again because I thought the 3d in this was sub par. Aside from the bridge scene which was okay, I didn't notice much in terms of 3d effects. So far, Hugo is the only movie that's wowed me and I'm comparing that to Avatar, Prometheus, Afterlife which are highly touted.

I scored this for $4.99 (yep blu-ray 3D) on Frys.com

They quickly moved the price up to $9.99 which is still a great deal.

That is surprising. The movies you referred to all have excellent 3D in my opinion and many other peoples opinion. Maybe you need to make some tweaks to your set up to get better quality 3D.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but was the previous film in this series, The Final Destination, ever released in Region A (or region-free) Blu-ray 3D or just analog (red and blue glasses) 3D? Thank you!

It was released, I believe it was a Best Buy exclusive or some odd similar situation. Now it costs a fortune apparently.

I really wish I had bought the 3d blurays for Final Destination 4 and 5 right away as I was collecting the series. I can't believe 4 is out of print! On the bright side though I saw Frys.com still had it available for purchase last time I checked since they had back stock of copies with the movie money vouchers for 5 when it hit theaters way back. The price was close to 30 so I may bite if worst comes to worst

The Final Destination has some solid 3D scenes, especially the opening Nascar Racing scene. Strong 3D opening, then much of the movie settles back down to medium 3D until the horror begins. Filmed in 3D from what I remember.
