I went to Target today and they had 5-6 copies, all without slipcovers. With RR also having a slipcover shortage, we can probably assume the BB and Hunchback slipcovers will start disappearing soon as well. (Unless they're selling a lot slower than the former two.) I'm inclined to believe that they just had a small initial print run, and that's the end of them.

Yeah, I'm going to need to have a lot of disposable income lying around before I go with Mulan over about 20 other titles I want right now.

I saw this listed at 14.99 this morning at 8:58 and tried to buy it. Next second its back up to 27.98. Get the hell out of here. Guess I will wait for the next price drop.

Tons of people must have jumped on it the 6 hrs it was on sale. My daughter loves Mulan.

I placed my order this morning around 6:30 pacific. I didn't check the auto reply from Amazon til tonight. It showed $27.98! I just used their live chat for 20min trying to convince the person that it was 14.99- he claimed they have never sold it for that price. I sent the blu-ray.com graph link, which he couldn't see, and asked him to check the order history, as others must have paid that price this morning. He said he couldn't find that information.
Finally, he contacted a manager and due to my volume of business, and they corrected my invoice to 14.99.
Good grief!

If you received the 14.99 price from Amazon today, please post the details.....

I just got this for $12 at Toys R Us with preordering the Plane

This is great in that it included extras from previous DVD.(unlike other recent ones like Lilo & Stitch )

But it's missing one option that I really miss from the original 2-Disc DVD. I had the original DVD, and that had the Mandarin as one of the audio option. It was actually great watching it with the Chinese language since the movie setting is in China. I actually preferred watching it this way. It fits really well and makes it feel like I'm watching a foreign movie.
This is really disappointing since blu-ray included French, Spanish, and even Portuges while omitting the Mandarin that was included before.

It's still great watching it in HD, but lately, Disney releases have seem to got lazy (and surprised that it used the 4 disc stacked case instead of normal flip 3 disc case)

Price drop again. I'm thinking it might stay here until it goes back in the vault? Glad I jumped on it.

I don't think it is in danger of going into the vault. I think the older 2 disc DVD was in print till the 2 movie BD and DVD came out.

There were three Chinese dubs produced, the Taiwanese Mandarin dub, the Cantonese dub, and the Mainland Chinese Mandarin dub, and all three had Jackie Chan as Shang. The old 2 disc US DVD had the Taiwanese Mandarin dub with Coco Lee (Chinese-American singer) as Mulan.

Sadly, Mulan has yet to receive a BD release in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan. So none of the Chinese dubs are available on Blu-ray. The only other BD releases of Mulan have been in Japan and Europe, and none of them have any of the Chinese dubs.

I didn't know that, and I think I used to have the DVD. That would've been a cool way to watch it!

How long will the price stay at $14.99? Is this a one day only kind of thing?
