Thanks, this is exactly the kind of thing that's important to me.

dvdtalk says it has the usual LVR scanner noise but more berable than on other titles.

Non-ported over extras is also a big thing. Would love to hear someone just say, "Nope, all BU Blu's are an upgrade from the DVD and nothing was left behind."
New York Ripper BLU is missing a short scene, though it was completely out of place on the DVD, so in some sick way, it's an improvement (vs. the DVD) with it not being there.

It's not BU, but the Anchor Bay 'Demons' DVDs have director commentary tracks that aren't on the Synapse BLUs. This might be the case with Synape 'Tenebre' and 'Phenomena' also, so be sure to check on those, whenever they're released.

Several early BU BLUs are missing the original non-remixed soundtracks (Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Dead and Buried, Two Evil Eyes, Final Countdown, Circle of Iron, Fire and Ice, Fast Company).

There's significant extras on the Limited Edition DVD of Salon Kitty that aren't on the BLU. Same goes with Fire and Ice.

Some minor extras like still galleries are on several of the early titles but not on the BLUs.
Wanted:
Warner Bros UK 90th Anniversary slipcovers:
'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', 'The Exorcist', 'A Clockwork Orange'
Criterion: 'Chungking Express' Replacement Sleeve Insert OR Digipak, 'The Third Man' Digipak (do NOT need discs or booklets)
Studio Canal Collection Nordic Edition slipcovers for digibook releases

Damn, thanks for all this. I guess I'm going to hold on to a bunch of the DVD versions after all.

As far as titles that are missing the original mono or stereo tracks, those might be it. For some stupid reason, BU was including multiple versions of the remixed track (both DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD), yet ignored putting the mono tracks on the discs.

I'm a huge stickler to have the film's original audio so this was all very crucial info.

LVR damn these guys really can't get some new equipment already, it is 2015 and these guys must have archaic equipment. Berable is really all you can ask for when it comes to LVR unfortunately. Thanks for the info!

Hell of the Living Dead, because the DVD doesn't have the missing frames that screws up all the soundtrack music.

I just read in another thread here a couple days ago (I'd link it but I forget which thread it was - does anyone remember?) that LVR has just retired their funky scanner and gotten new equipment.

It could be that the rumors are true and they have new equipment, but Man, Pride, and Vengeance was transferred before that switchover. It's definitely noisy:

I'm keeping my pre-order, but it would be great if Arrow picked this up and did it right.

Yeah that is terrific news if LVR got new equipment. That cap above looks bad but some of the other caps look decent, not fantastic but still look pretty nice. I'm torn

Yeah they do, but I still love them just for their title selections.

I mistakenly sold off my Vampyres DVD before realizing the Anulka nudie gallery didn't carry over to the blu-ray.

Also, a lot of people prefer the black levels on the old Maniac DVD to the milkiness of the blu-ray.

BU is teasing new Franco releases for Blu on their FB page, but not saying which titles. Announcement to follow soon, I hope.
