Any Mike Leigh fans? After watching Topsy Turvy I became a fan. Recently we have another great title from him released by Criterion! There is a UK release as well

The Exorcist 40th Anniversary Edition

New Special Features

Beyond Comprehension: William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist: 40 years after his novel was published, The Exorcist author, screenwriter and producer returns to where it all began. First stop is a cabin/guest house in the hills of Encino, California, where Blatty wrote the novel. The author visits the place for the first time in 40 years and shares not only memories of writing the book, but also discusses how it inspired him. We then meet Blatty in two key and iconic locations; Georgetown University where the film was shot, and at the now-famous Exorcist steps. Throughout, Blatty reads from his novel, including an excerpt from a chilling newly published passage.

Talk of the Devil: While at Georgetown University, William Peter Blatty heard about a true case of possession from Father Eugene Gallagher. At the time the film came out, the priest talked at length about exorcism, the true story and about Blatty; this footage is now available for the first time in many years. It is as revealing as it is shocking.

^ Yeah, the artwork's evocative, and I particularly like the typography. Just to clarfiy, is this the same transfer(s) as we already have, but with a new cover and some new featurettes?

Not enough to upgrade from the digibook, methinks, but I'm not sure how it could be. This is for new buyers, yeah?

I am unsure of the transfer. I alone will be buying it for the features and artwork

I own this copy and I am uncertain why the Audio is different to the US version?

Aah, I see someone has already created an entry for this in the database, claiming it will be a new 4K scan. Fact, or conjecture?

(It would be good if people would hold off on modifying the database until details are confirmed. It only causes confusion and misinformation. /complaint.)

There is chatter about it being a 4K scan but the current scan could have been from a 4k source, that doesn't mean it is a completely brand new scan from said source

Who doesn't want to see Ross Noble (terrible comedian) play a crazy clown in a horror movie for $9.99? I will personally be having a laugh at this for that price

(HAS LOCAL RELEASE AND UK RELEASE BUT NOT AS CHEAP)

Yeah I watched this a couple of weeks back (local version), a few laughs I must admit and so refreshing to see a lot of prosthetic effects instead of being completely reliant on CGI.

Good old 80s movie

(THIS IS THE UK RELEASE)

Surely you're excited for this?

Decent movie with Colin Firth Emily Blunt - Emily Blunt is drool worthy too. Bad joke I know

For the Korean movie fans. This one is quite good

LOL this next one is a childhood favourite of mine. It is so corny and lame! This is a great movie for you cheese fans TRUST ME!

Another fantastic movie by Sarah Polley - This is a MUST SEE

(THIS IS THE UK RELEASE)

This looks like a nice old fashioned horror movie. Watch trailer, don't read reviews

This movie is quite lame but it is hillarious to watch how ridiculous Robert Downey's sneaky character is

Another great fun 80s movie with a great cast

Finally we get the second Tomb Raider movie (Without the silly German cover 2 pack) You can also already buy the first one

Anybody like old war movies?

Obviously the best movies

(THIS IS THE UK RELEASE)

Default Nosferatu!!

Some fabbo news:

Eureka/MoC has just announced a new restoration of Murnau's Nosferatu.

It'll get a cinema run in the UK in October, and then be released on DVD and Blu-ray in November.

Ahh, creatures of the Night! What sweet music they make!!

80s fans. This is all new packaging and you get Blu-ray, Digital copy and UV

New Paul Rudd movie and Phantom which is not released here till August. Looks like a cool movie that I missed at cinema

(THIS HAS LOCAL AND UK RELEASE)

Claude Lanzmann directed this 9 1/2 hour documentary of the Holocaust without using a single frame of archive footage. He interviews survivors, witnesses, and ex-Nazis (whom he had to film secretly since though only agreed to be interviewed by audio)

Niels Arden Oplev (guy who directed the remake of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) has this new movie coming out. Looks the goods

(THIS HAS A UK RELEASE)

This show is awesome. I have only just got in to it. If anybody like sketch comedy then at least check out some of the youtube videos. It's only $20 per season

Here is a classic example of Portlandia

This one sounds very good a documentary on a secret service with all of the survivors of Shin Bet. Plus one of the main actors from Prison Break in this new action movie Assault on Wall Street

These 2 new horror movie looks pretty good to me check out the trailers

Evidence: IMDB Synopsis: A detective hunts down a killer using video footage shot by the victims of a massacre at an abandoned gas station.
