And I hope it's done way better than Disney's first attempt with TFA.
Throne of Elves Princess Nerwin: Beautiful, pretty, elegant, alluring, hot, radiant, enchanting, stunning, attractive and very, very sexy!!

Frozen's Elsa: Attractive, alluring and sexy with the loveliest hips.

Well I never bought the first release of TFA but probably enough did that they'll be willing to go for double-dip so I predict standard edition only, then 4K and 3D in November or December

Yep, I'm almost certain they'll do that. They love any chance to double dip!

But with Rogue One they released the 3D the same time as the regular version. I sincerely hope they release this on all formats simultaneously as well. I really don't wanna have to double dip down the road on this one.
Last UHD watched: Hacksaw Ridge
Last 3D BD watched: Prometheus

I don't know.. Disney has popped their cherry with the Guardians of the Galaxy 4k. I think Last Jedi will get a 4K release at the same time.

Sanity also have listings up for the 3D and 4K release for the same March date.

I'm hoping they at least do the 3D set in the same style as the collector's edition set for The Force Awakens

Yeah looks like my cynicism is thankfully unwarranted this time. They'll probably find some other way to double-dip for next Christmas though haha.

Yes, would be nice if Disney can be consistent with the packaging!

A green lightsaber theme would be perfect in this instance

I'll have a standard first release version, please. And there'll be no double-dipping at a later date. I'm no mug.

4K in a nice TFA style digipack please, preferably not as a double dip and if they chuck in the 3D version, that's even better (Even though I can't see that happening in this country).
True Lies still isn't on blu-ray.

Since there's going to be a digibook in the US do we think it's going to get a local release? I don't keep up with them much but is Sanity likely to have it? I've already looked on JB's site and they only have the steelbook listed, and I recall seeing digibooks previously for DC films at Sanity. Or would they have already listed it by now if they were going to have it?

Rogue One had a digibook from Sanity so it's possible they'll have on for this

Yep, so peeved I didn't know about the Rogue One digibook.

Ideally what would be good is a 4K & Blu-ray all in one Digibook and then maybe a 3D Collector's Edition to match TFA.

I was just looking around the NZ JB site today and I noticed that there's a listing for the Light Side version of this here, so I thought that was interesting. I only picked up the blu-ray locally for TFA when it was first released so I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure we didn't get it for that (while the UK did). So I thought that was pretty cool, although I'm wondering if it'll just be the cover or if we'll get a slip as well.

Either way, if I do end up getting it (depends purely on the design), it'll be from the UK since they at least have smaller ratings logos, but it'll be nice to look at our version in the shop.

I'll just grab the steelbook since those always have the ratings on the outer cardboard sleeve, plus it'll go nicely with the Rogue One steelbook.

That's why I like steelbooks as well, no ratings at all. I do have the Zavvi 3D one on pre-order and I'll likely get the 4K from the UK as well because that Disney Play Anywhere banner crap is even uglier than the ratings logos, but it depends a lot on what the covers are when it comes down to it. I'm getting Ragnarok 4K from the UK because its cover blows the US one out of the water, but I'll have to see what the US vs UK get for TLJ. I guess we'll find out come Wednesday since the US is getting the official release info then.

Depending on what the light and dark side covers are I might get one or both, but if they're just the same images on the back and front of the steelbook then I'll be passing on both. I'm also eager to see the digibook though because that looks cool.
