Without a doubt Looper. Saw the trailers & me & the Mrs had absolutely no interest in seeing it. All my co-workers & some of my friends were asking if I saw it & were telling me how good it is. Then everybody here was talking about how good it was, read some reviews, same story. Had a gift card, decided to use it. Watched it last night, loved it, watching it now for a 2nd time. All of the reviews couldn't prepare me for how good this movie is. The Mrs. thought it was good but was turned off by some of Old Joe's actions. It's so good I'm watching it again right now.

Outside of Kate Beckinsale being much better than Sharon Stone in looks, personality and acting (and therefore, a much better Lori Quaid than Sharon Stone) and picture and sound quality on BluRay Disc, the original Total Recall was still much better than the remake in every conceivable way.

Still, I thoroughly enjoyed the remake of Total Recall, making it the biggest surprise film of 2012 for me.
