They both use UPS and DHL for courier delivery, you can't really tell in advance which one it will be. However with Amazon.com it's your own choice whether you choose international priority shipping while Amazon.ca do free courier upgrades for even standard shipping to Europe. While this is basically a good thing, it ceases to be when customers have to pay an extra $20 because UPS Express charge twice for doing their job.

Picked mine up over the weekend.

Absolutely perfect. Really nice set and definitely worth having if you are a fan Id say.

Regarding the UV code - which cut is this for? The theatrical Id guess? SD or HD?

I'm almost positive the code is for the full extended edition. While I never use the codes, I can't imagine anyone would've given me $5 for the theater or directors cut code when they could get the BD combo pack with that code for the same price at most places. If that wasn't the UE on that, I'm sorry to whoever bought it. It was marked as the UE code.

Just went and looked at the UE and the DC bd's in collection. The director's cut is a disc based code, the UE is from a website and says watchmen collector's edition in the redeem address. It's definitely the full cut on that code, treat it as such.

Its a really nice set and Im glad I got it despite that customs charge. The lenticular cover demands to be on full display! Now, do I keep my two Watchmen steelbooks?

Open it! Its the only way you'll know for sure that its mint!

I read some horror stories on here about the packaging but mine was spotless - no problems at all. And the hardback graphic novel is very nice too.

Is the lenticular cover on all copies or just special ones? Apologies if my question is a bit ignorant

I'll take it if you don't need it, I will give it a good home. Seriously, it's probably worth $3 or $4 bucks. Maybe a little more if you found the right buyer, but that could take weeks/months.

Rhino, you can use US UV codes on a UK account. Just sign up for a US account using the same details using a US proxy server and you can then link the accounts. Whenever you need to redeem a US code you sign in to the US account with the proxy, use the code and the movie will be added to your collection which can then be watched or downloaded in the UK account.

Are you sure Rhino can't just use it like normal? I was able to add mine to my normal Flixster UK account and I can't remember going to that much hastle, but maybe I did something weird...

i went in to flixster as normal and it wouldnt let me it stated i could not redeem as im in the uk....
found a firefox addon proxy module (Anonymox) that simulate a us ip...
typed in link on the uv leaflet and it said again not in uk ..turned on module for usa ip and voila it accepted it.

i didnt want to sell it but didnt know i could use it...so now i can

had it been the normal version yes i would have given it away but the ultimate cut on cloud is more usefull if i ever sell the box.

Rhino just tried it: if you put a US code on the UK site it will not work. But using a US proxy (I also use anonymox for firefox) will allow the code to be added to a US account which you can then simply link with your UK one.
