Thanks man! I hope it helps others to get more involved. It seems to be a quiet hobby at the moment.

Yes. I stumbled upon this thread, and saw your tutorial. Since I had access to photoshop, I was able to design some custom artwork for the Bond slipcovers based on the Skyfall slipcover.

So after watching barrycameron's tutorial video I decided to try it out and make a few slipcovers, fortunately I already had an inkjet printer and some glossy paper, all I had to buy was the clear gloss paint.

I found this one at my local Home Depot for $3.75.

This one was my first try, it ended up kind of loose due to the paper I was using. (Kodak Photo Gloss 44lb.)

This one turned out a little better, the clear gloss spray helped to make the slip a little more harder and heavier.

I decided to switch from glossy paper and try printing on card stock paper,
the results were amazing! The card stock paper is thicker therefore the slip ends up being heavier and sturdier, I'm probably using this from now on.

Blurays with Slips FTW.

Excellent results!! And the good thing about using just the standard card is that you will be glossing it up anyway with your spray!

Amazing buddy!

Is there a site where you can download custom slipcovers in the right dimensions for printing?
I've seen some custom Disney ones, like Toy Story 3D, Hercules, Aladdin etc that look really great.

Due to copyrights I cannot sell them. They are purely for a hobby.

Metrock printed up these custom Star Trek slipcovers (and matching interior artwork) for me based on custom art that's a combination of stuff I created, scans of retail artwork, and custom designs from this forum and other artwork sites.

Some of the proportions ended up a little stretchy as I didn't take the slipcover size difference into account, but for now they look pretty great.

You guys do a great job! I would love to start trying these myself, just don't have the means or the time right now to dive in and start whole new projects.

Soo, I want to attempt to turn this picture into what will be the front of a slipcover. Anyone know how to scan and crop this from 8x11 to a slip size?

Aldo Raine: Yeah, they made that deal, but they don't give a *frick* about him. They need you.
Hans Landa: You'll be shot for this!
Aldo Raine: Nah, I don't think so. More like chewed out. I've been chewed out before.
