Strange...

Do you think Warner may have someting to do with that ?

Is it possible for a company to make impossible to play old BD with an update for BD players ?

Anyway this 2007 edition was the only way to watch "A Warrior Journey" doc. !

I'm pretty sure Warner has something to do with this issue.

My 2007 BD was perfectly playing the last time I played it some years ago.

Is Warner done something ?

Default Update...

My copy, including A Warrior's Journey, and Curse of The Dragon docs, still plays!

I don't understand what happened to other's discs, however, it's not good.

My 2007 edition stopped playing also, along with disc one of the original Planet Earth set.I'm glad to have the 40th anniversary disc now,but now I'm paranoid other discs will stop working over time!

A lot of Warner's HD-DVD's went bad. I personally havent had any problems with their blus but some people i know have had some bad discs. Hopefully this is not whats starting to happen.

My Australian edition won't play anymore either (the one with A Warriors Journey on it)..

PC, Panasonic and Veon players.

It must be just some kind of Blu-Ray rot, as the disc has not one mark on it.

The Warner HD DVD rot has been a curse for me. I picked up a lot of HD DVDs after support was dropped. Part of it was me being a collector of films I like on oddball formats, part of it was me buying more to justify owning the player. Unfortunately, I bought them when they were at the $10-15 point (they were previously $25-30) and not when they were $2 a year later. I also didn't think BD was going to be as successful as it has, or that prices would go as low as they have. I didn't anticipate $5 catalog titles every Black Friday or $8 catalog titles every other day of the year. But then that Warner HD DVD rot thing.... discs that worked the previous 2 or 3 times watched, either don't load or stop playing with an error message at some random time in.
Wanted: Warner Bros UK 90th Anniversary slipcovers for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Exorcist, and A Clockwork Orange. Replacement Sleeve Insert for Criterion's "Chungking Express" and Digipak for "The Third Man".

Yes. I just watched my "US" release last night and it has about 25 options for languages and subtitles. Also, Warner tends to use the same disc pressings worldwide.
