I actually like the cover of the standard edition of Season 1. Not to say I wouldn't love a Stark or Targaryen, but the simple black looks nice.

BLEEP no haha! Unfortunately I missed out on the BB exclusive for season 1. I would love BOTH, but I can't justify the $100+ price tag. I love the Lannister season 2 slip though!

I just picked up a used season 1 5-disk set, whats the difference between the 125 dollar set and the 50 dollar set? im trying to figure out which version i have. Mine has stark on the cover but no border around his picture. Inside folds open to 5 sections with 5 disks.

Is it Ned sitting on the throne, or the House of Stark symbol? If it's Ned sitting on the throne, with no House of Stark symbol(on the slipcover), then you got the standard release.
Best Buy, for S1 & S2, offered exclusve slipcovers that featured different house symbols.
S1: Stark & Targaryen
S2: Lannister & Greyjoy

The only difference between the exclusive sets and the wide release set is a slipcover. All discs are the same.
