There's an error in the review, in the special features section..
"-Audio Commentary with Director Tony Maylam and International Film Journalist Alan Jones. This is a highly engaging commentary. The best thing is that Savini obviously takes neither himself nor the film at all seriously, and he's actually a little derisive now and then as the film plays, which only makes the commentary all the more charming. There a are a lot of great anecdotes here about the Weinsteins and the filming process. " This is the first time I've heard Tom Savini is going to be on the commentary track here, better clear this one up.
"He [Fanboyz] posts negative comments all the time, so you're just giving him a taste of his own medicine. And he [Fanboyz] is fugly..." - jeepersitsthecreeper

Hey guys...slightly off topic question. I have not purchased any of the Scream Factory releases as of yet, but I am thinking about starting with The Burning and The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Right now they are 19.99 and 18.99 respectively for Pre-Order on Amazon. How do prices on these releases usually work? Do they ever drop to 14.99 release week or are they 19/18 until a week after and then up to 24.99? I want to get the best bang for my buck. Also WHERE do you recommend I buy them? Scream Factory, Amazon, Best Buy, etc.

The best bang for your buck is probably Amazon or ImportCDs. You can order from SF directly if you're interested in the limited edition poster the offer, but you have to order early enough, which I believe is limited to 500 copies. However, you'll pay near full price and high shipping costs unless SF is having a sale. |
