Whenever I play full frame 4:3 DVDs using my PS3, the image seems a bit squeezed on my TV. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, do I have to change any settings on the PS3?
I should note that full frame 4:3 BluRays are properly displayed, it is just DVDs. |

I would look at your ps3 video settings, sounds to me like your aspect ratio is on stretch or zoom, I prefer letterbox. I don't own a PS3 but am a video professional. I am not for sure but try and see if there is a DVD setting for your video settings in the system menu of the PS3.
Hope this helps. I have access to a PS3 if this doesn't resolve the problem I will go tinker with the little brothers... lol. |
