JAWS - Blu-ray 14 Aug 2012 - Review up

I just checked my digital copy (so far) and noticed "the glitch."
It's a single frame shot that lasts no more than a split second. You'd need to be very observant to catch it.

that's the prob, I cant find my old Uni DVD for a true comparison, I compared the blu and the digital copy on my HD, both play the same at that 16:31 time point, the blu and digital copy most likely come from the same 2012 master.

What about the DVD that's included? Does it come from the new master?

well, found my 2005 dvd, and it looks the same to my eyes as the 2012 blu and the digital copy.

oops, forgot that the blu comes with a DVD as well, I dont have time to check, I have to head off to work.

Are we sure this isn't an intentional choice? Wouldn't the sound be off if they accidentally cut out 4 seconds from the movie?

I just checked the supposed glitch at 16:31. It is not a glitch. It's the same quick cuts between the children splashing that has always been there. I have seen this over 50 times over the years so I know this film really well and this is exactly what I remember seeing on TV, VHS, and DVD.

I had doubts over this glitch, I watched the bluray less than a week ago and those quick cuts have always been there. The sound is edited just as sounds like that are on a noisy beach.
