The thing that stands out to me the most is the contrast between the red and blue carbon fiber. Very nice indeed. Are those B&W drivers and tweeters you are using?

Just incredible. These turned out better than the original R2's. I realy like the red carbon fiber finish on the base.

Thanks again for all those nice words. I put a little slideshow together. I think its pretty interesting to watch it all over again and see how this speaker was build! It's a little long but for me it really flys by quick! Enjoy!! |

The music is from Pachelbel (canon in D). It's very relaxing and i get never tired of it no matter how often i hear it. It's something classical for some classic speakers. Next on the list is to finish my center speaker and after that i want to build some subwoofers. Finally something easy. |

Absolutely beautiful! I have one of the last pairs of 801Ds that were sold, and also use the HTM1D center channel. The finish on your speakers is gorgeous! The center channel would be a crowning touch for this system. It's been a pleasure to watch your project to completion.

Being the type of guy I am, I MUST appalud Reference even further. He should have been a Cryptologist, becaused the amount of analyitical work he put into this project is astounding.
I've used the internet to back track his steps and they are mind boggling!! Exact CAD drawings, plans, specs, right down to optional resistors on the B&W 800D2 - It's amazing that he completed this project in the short amount of time that he did (considering all of the work he put into it). This is not the work of an amature, Ref is a true craftsman, and a pretty good gatherer of intelligence. Thats a Bravo Zulu coming from me!!!!
