Agreed. I got them maybe last year when the later two were released individually, and feel the same. I liked the first, liked the second a lot, and thought the third was merely okay. I'm looking even more forward to the Tom Hardy reboot than the video game, but both are on my list.
Top 10: 1. The Dark Knight 2. The Shawshank Redemption 3. Pulp Fiction 4. The Empire Strikes Back 5. The Departed 6. The Lord of the Rings 7. No Country For Old Men 8. The Lion King 9. District 9 10. Saving Private Ryan

The Road Warrior is one of the greatest films of all time.

It is - Ive known that for a long time mind!

What surprised me on getting the trilogy set on blu-ray last year was the first Mad Max. Id always underrated it but its so much fun, a lot better than I remember it and really darkly funny in places too.

Many pointed out at some flickering and telecine judder in MM2 here and there, while others claimed Thunderdome has flickering and telecine judder especially in the first part, starting with the opening titles. Maybe they are inherent to the source film materials and the way the movies were filmed and put together...

Have you spotted these problems on the DVD versions? If so, it's inherent to the source materials, not the HD transfers.

So, I was never able to find Mad Max, so I never Bought Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior and Mad Max: Beyond ThunderDome.

Well, FYE has Mad Max for $5.oo with any purchase so I finally bought it.
Then went to B&N and grabbed Road Warrior.

As my luck would have it, I can't find Beyond ThunderDome now!

It was in the DVD too! Must be related to the film materials....
