Hello Oliver.

Thank you for the acknowledgement. My comment to Billy in his gallery was supposed to be complimentary. I've since added an addendum replacing "Imposing" with "Formidable".

@Billy13

I do concur with the others..... You do have a very nice system. Low budget, high budget, no budget..... it's what you do with what you have and you've configured a very strong set up.

But do understand, this hobby is not for the faint of wallet! Your wallet will have to have a strong degree of testicular fortitude!
Why?! It's called upgraditis! It's an affliction that has taken out the best of us! The longer you galavant on the "Home Theater Gallery Thread", your resistance will weaken. It's inevitable! Next thing you know, 1-2 months and $5K later,... New pre-pro, new projector and screen, and lord knows what else, (maybe a turntable w/phono amp, pre-amp with HT passthru, an HTPC for hi-res files w/DAC and last but not least, the ever present Dyn-God!! He's omni-present! His kung-fu/voodoo is strong! In the last year, 4 or 5 have succumb to the voodoo!

TO the Dynaudio die-hards, I'm only kidding! They are outstanding speakers! I'm not being facetious. For real!

Anyway, I hope you have a lot of fun on the threads. It seems that you're off to a great start.

Ld I thought you had changed something in your setup that i was not aware of, I thought you were also bitten by the Dyn gods or something

You ar e so right about budget, it's not hopw much you spend but rather what you do with it and Billy has but together a fabulous setup for his budget, I hope Billy you will resist to the updraditis bug. i cought it a couple years ago and I just can't seemto stop.

Well it's not something to bragg about, let's just say i a happy with it and I will keep it for a while, I am no t really into 3D and it takes me time to get into new technologies, lets just say technology is moving too fast nowadays, progress is nice but it kills me when I see 4K already when not everybody has gone HD yet and for god sakes analog was removed in 2009 in the US and 2011 in Canada, for me it is almost non sense. Yes I had HD at home for at least 5-6 years but seriously 4K for my movies, of course if you have a projector it makes perfect sense but truly i don't need it.

I like the sound and sonics of the Arcam and I don't need all the latests bells and whistles.

I am from the Belle Province in Canada, Even if I am French speaking, as i said I am fluent in both languages but there are a few expressions and words sometimes I have to look up cause i don't know there meaning.

All things considred if we had even a spoken conversation together John you would probably think I am from New England

One of my former boss told me that once. Hell i am from Montreal where it's pretty bilingual.

When we went to Hawaii a waiter thought we were from Australia. Almost. If we had a spoken conversation you would know what part of the country I was from and its not New England.

Holy crap Billy thats hot! Try staying cool buddy. Like I said my wife, our Lab and I may be headed out your way by the end of the year. We gotta move out of this god awful state we currently live in. Its either gonna be at the end of the year or June of next year but I dont know if I can survive another Minnesota winter so we may pack everything up and get the hell out of here. Either way Arizona is calling us back and we are going one way or another.

And it shows in your Avatar. Looks like you have been out in the heat to long. Anyway Billy, welcome to the HT gallery thread. Those are great looking systems you have put together in both the family and bedroom. However as you can see the other guys love to spend other ppl's money, like the suggestion for the PJ so you might want to hid your wallet.
