United Kingdom Will a US PS3 work on my TV?

In the manual for my TV (Samsung UE40C5800) it says that it supports NTSC-4.43 and NTSC-3.58. I have no idea what that means in terms of being able to support NTSC. If i were to import a US PS3 to the UK would it work on my TV via HDMI?

Thanks

Yep, You can. Check out my Gallery. I'm using 2 US PS3's (1 old Fat and a slim). I just switched the cords.

I have a very similar Samsung TV in my lounge. I can confirm it plays NTSC fine.

Thanks for this

Received my US PS3 today and everything works fine, just waiting for some region A titles to arrive now!

If I sign in to PSN with my UK account will it have any effect on the playblack of BD's? I assume not but I want to check first!

Like others said, no problems.

NTSC 4.43 and 3.58 is analogue SD stuff. In Europe, all HDTVs carrying the HD Ready or HD TV logo have to support all refresh rates over HDMI and Component, so you can use anything from anywhere with the TV.
