Picked this up on Amazon and watched it for the first time the other night! I haven't laughed this hard in a long time! This truly is one of the funniest films ever made!

Watched this last night. Noticed a couple of tiny skips - one at the end of the first meeting with Franz, the other midway through the drinking session with the "inebriate" played by William Hickey. It did this on the blu and DVD. Anyone else notice this? Was this part of the original film and/or previous MGM DVD releases?

They're both in the MGM DVD release as well and they aren't different takes spliced together (like it usually is with jumps like that). It looks like the film somehow lost a few frames at some point or in editing.

Thanks! At least I don't have to worry that I got defective goods if that's how it's always been (at least on disc).

This seems to be out of stock just about everywhere. Amazon has it as "temporarily out of stock" and there is only one marketplace seller, who is asking some ridiculous thing like over $200 for it... Ebay, I can't find a single copy for sale by any seller. DeepDiscount, back ordered... This isn't out of print, right?

Shout! seems to still have it for order on their site.

Do they have a free shipping option (minimum amount for an order, or a coupon code even?)?

Found a free shipping on $40 purchase code. What really grinds my gears is when you need to hit a minimum like this and the things you want are JUST shy. I am literally 3 cents away. 3 cents. No joke. 39.97. Piranha + The Producers gets me 3 cents short of free shipping. At the very least, I think these coupons codes should be programmed so that if you don't hit the threshold, they charge you a maximum shipping price of the difference between the threshold and your purchase. In other words, I'd pay 3 cents shipping! But nope, it wants me to pay the full 5.99 shipping, which is is unacceptable. I can't find anything else that I want that will get me there, either.

$5.99 for shipping is unacceptable when your only other option is $200 from an Amazon Marketplace seller?

You know what I mean, right? I just mean the principle of the thing. It's stupid that I have to pay $5.99 for shipping because I can't add 3 cents to my cart. Or I have to buy something I don't want (or want as much) in order to get my cart to the sweet spot value. It's just annoying and frustrating, and I don't understand why it can't be a little more consumer friendly. If someone else is buying a second item with their purchase that costs 21.99, instead of 20.99 like mine is, then they end up taking in about $5 total less from that person, even though they bought $1 more worth of products, because they WILL get free shipping. So they take in fewer dollars and dispatch more dollars worth of product? It just doesn't make sense to me that they can't make the shipping threshold more flexible.
