Back in late 2008, when Crystal Skull came out on Blu-ray, Target had an exclusive Digibook that contained 2 BDs. The wide release of the film had the same two discs but was in a regular Amaray-style BD case. Same discs/different packaging.

The Complete Indiana Jones BD set we're talking about in this thread has its own exclusive bonus disc, which is not the same as the second disc of the 2008 Crystal Skull BD set. A number of extras from that Crystal Skull 2-disc set did not carry over to the Complete Indy BD set from 2012.

I'm not sure how into special features you happen to be so you may or may not be interested in the rest of this, but read on if you are.

[Show spoiler]In May of 2008, the first three Indy films got new single disc DVD releases, available individually and in a three film/3 DVD set. In October of that year, when Crystal Skull hit BD and DVD, they also released those same three DVDs with a 2-disc DVD of Crystal Skull in a 4 film/5 DVD set. The 2-disc BD of Crystal Skull has all the special features of the 2-disc DVD of Crystal Skull and then some. However, some special features from the first three films' DVDs of 2008 did not carry over to the Complete Indy BD set from 2012.

I won't cover the 2003 Indy DVD set too much as I'm sure you had it and are familiar with its bonus features. I think everything from that set carried over but I remember someone mentioning that possibly a trailer and the 10-minute Best Buy exclusive DVD content may have been left off the 2012 BD set, but don't hold me to that.

There are also a few vintage docs from the 80's that didn't make this Indy BD set from 2012:

-Great Movie Stunts(Raiders)
-Great Adventurers and Their Quests(Crusade)
-The Making of Temple of Doom PBS Special(never officially released on home video)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some other TV specials from Entertainment Tonight and the like, but in terms of previous home video releases, I'm pretty sure that's everything. Well, like I said, that Temple of Doom PBS special never got an official release, but it's worth watching.

There was a complete list of all features missing from the new BD set somewhere in this thread from last year. A 7-disc set at most could have given us a truly complete Indy BD set, but just like Star Wars, Lucasfilm foolishly left a lot of stuff out.

I agree with you in that sense. Lists are always subject to scrutiny which in a way ruins the whole fun of enjoying films.

Also in the case of the 4 Indy films, they, in subtle way, build off one another. Which is another reason why I just like them all. I'm hoping to add a 5th film in the coming years!

Ok, thanks!
I have the Individual Trilogy BD releases and I was able to get the Quadrilogy Bonus BD!
I have no need for Skull's as I could not get into the film at all... I tried a bunch of times...

Going through the review for E.T., the reviewer, Kenneth Brown, was listing Spielberg's "extraterrestrial" movies and one of the titles on his list was The Film of Which I Will Not Speak. I thought, "What? How did I miss that one?". I clicked the link and it linked to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Probably answered, but I'm asking again.

Does anyone else have a problem with their packaging? My "The Last Crusade" has "The Temple of Doom" cardboard cutout, instead of the correct one.

My "Temple of Doom" and "The Last Crusade" pages in the case, respectively (notice they're the same thing).

I just checked mine and it is OK, funny that they would let that slip out. Someone must have not been paying attention at the binding machine.

I imagine the version Amazon.ca is selling is the same but I don't know for sure. Hope that helps.
I can confirm the only French text is on the top spine and back of the slipcase (or whatever the hell those blu-ray removable top-and-backer things are). There's no French on the actual case, the inside book or the discs themselves.

Just picked up Raiders Of The Lost Ark and saw that it offered the digital HD copy but was sad to learn it was only redeemable thru iTunes. Ok what idiot at paramount thought of using just itunes to get the digital copy? Not everyone has a apple device or gets their digital copies thru iTunes. I don't I get all my digital copies thru vudu and I have a iPhone.
