The price remains $52.50 but no longer available from amazon. Only from resellers and fullfilled by amazon.

It seems lots of people purchased the product to resell them.

Brand new...there was a thread about this sale price out there somewhere (I'm sure it's somewhere in the "Dead Deals" Section).

Oh, wow! It was the Collectors Box Set. None of the posts said that & I wuz checking the regular version. Sorry I missed it. At that price I'd have double-dipped just to get the "book". Oh, well, I'm broke enough anyways ...

I think there was a time when they where about the same price. So would you pay 20 bucks for a Blu Ray, or the same price for a BD, DVD, 2 Vinyl Records, and a nice 50-something page book. Obviously the stand alone release!
Founder of one of the world's biggest charities: "Raise Awareness for the Garbage Pail Kids Movie". I believe everyone should see this masterwork of cinema, and that's why I created this charity. I have given all my money to this charity, which unfortunately has made me homeless. But it's worth it. Here's the website: www.raiseawareness4garbagepailkids.com
Update: The site was taken down because the government realized they could harness the films awesomeness to nuke other countries.

Huh? Absolutely, as I said, I wish I had seen it and gotten it just for the book. Then I'd have sold my original BD and, if possible, the 45s (gave up my record player long ago ). Well worth the extra hassle and money, but ... I was out cleaning up after the house painters at the time and missed out.

Talking 1080i ????

Not sure if anybody has asked or it has been addressed already, but, was just wondering what's the reason behind the 1080i coding instead of 1080p. If the source was (rumored) to be a 16mm master, and I know that was supposedly destroyed a while ago, but just curious as to why 1080i and not 1080p. I've seen quite a few 1080i film back in the early days of BD and HD-DVD format wars, and have seen a lot of 1080i ruin by digital combing interlace. I was hoping that BR.com would have answered this question in the review, but seemed to have skipped over it. Perhaps 1080i coding has gotten better over the years and does not affect MMT as I thought it might. Any info would be greatly satisfying. Thanks
