I hope they do not limit themselves to just origin films for established Star Wars characters for these films.

Would not mind if some of the films were original with new characters but set in the Star Wars universe (similar to the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), or following one of the known characters in a side story that is not an origin story.

I will see a Yoda film no matter what it is about or when it takes place.

I'd love to see the Darth Bane trilogy adapted to film, and an Obi-Wan film starring Ewan.

Walking around in a cane, and sitting down for the most part, isn't what I would consider "prime".

As for Yoda, does he really need an origin story? I'd rather have a Jango/Bobba film where they're in their prime - as hardened bounty hunters.

I would like an Obi-Wan movie with Ewan McGreggor set between III and IV.

I agree with you guys on this. A standalone film of Obi-Wan with Ewan back would be awesome! I know Hayden is probably a little old for this, but I would have loved to have seen a couple adventures of Anakin's and Obi-Wan's set inbetween Eps I and II. I also hope to see Hayden back as Anakin's ghost in EPVII.

tiger, yeah I there's that, and one of my favorites where he has his band of bounty hunters, including Bossk, and he kinds gets his ass handed to him by Ventress. Don't know if you've seen it, but it's Season 4 Episode 20.

Is Gareth Edwards and Gary Whitta‘s Spin-Off Movie about Yoda?

We still don’t know the subject of Gareth Edwards and Gary Whitta‘s 2016 Star Wars spin-off movie, but a clue might have hit Twitter earlier this week.

Quote:
Thanks guys... Nice of you to rub it in with the little dolly.

That’s Duncan Jones, the director of Moon and Warcraft, hanging at Lucasfilm with Edwards and Whitta. They gave him a Yoda Pop figure. Now, do they have Yoda Pop figures laying around because they are making a Yoda movie or did they give him an arbitrary character? I tend to think, if the movie was about Yoda, the one character they would NEVER give him is Yoda. So I’m going with that. They’re making a movie about any character except Yoda. But, anything could happen.

Overall I have enjoyed the Marvel movies but boy did they open a can of worms. These spin off Star Wars films might be too much of a good thing.
