Kirk = Luke
Bones = C3PO
Chekov = R2D2
ice planet = Hoth
Old Spock's ship from the future = X-Wing
Narada = Death Star

Not to mention the R2D2 cameos.

Be brave.

Those are the silliest attempts at analogs I have ever seen. Not to mention that it would be almost impossible NOT to have some analogies look like they are taken from SW, since Lucas stole the whole damn thing from The Hidden Fortress. You want to find a film with DIRECT analogues to the characters in Star Wars -- that's it.

And that's not a criticism. The characters in Fortress are very much archetypal, which means it's nearly impossible (without going all true surrealism) to avoid. However, the original Star Wars is nearly just an update of Hidden Fortress, just set in space.

Now, those I'll give you. So? JJ is a fan. We all knew that. If I had a gazillion dollars and a studio said, "Make a movie," I'd be tossing little things like that in there too. OK, not from Star Wars, but from other stuff that I really respect. There's nothing wrong with a little reference in fun.

But to say the characters and plot points are analogues like you're saying is absurd.
"To realize that all your life—you know, all your love, all your hate, all your memory, all your pain—it was all the same thing. It was all the same dream. A dream that you had inside a locked room. A dream about being a person. And like a lot of dreams there's a monster at the end of it."

R2 also appeared in Raiders of The Lost Ark, Close Encounters and possibly Goonies.

I didn't get a 'This movie is like Star Wars' vibe from Star Trek: Into Darkness. I got a 'This movie is terrible' vibe.

They need to come up with something totally new like when they came up with next gen and ds9. It was Trek but different
They've said repeatedly this one is a new story not based on a TOS episode or movie. I doubt they're lying since the Khan thing was received so poorly. Even Into Darkness was 80% original, which made the Khan thing feel even more forced and silly.
