I was contemplating the monoprice one, but ended up getting this one. So hopefully it works out that I like it. If not, I may have to return it and pay the re-stocking fee.

That is an amazing deal. I bought one of the Korean models in the summer of last year. Never going back to 1080p. I love 2560x1440!

Is 699.99 the great deal or was it cheaper and I missed it?
Because it's easier to have courage from a safe distance away.

I checked reviews of my graphics card before ordering this monitor and it said that they tested it at 2560x1440 for benchmark tests, but I went to the manufacturer's website today and it says 1900x1200 is the max resolution.

I hope the manufacturer's website is wrong. Otherwise I may have to go out this weekend and get a new card.

Glad to hear it. It would have to be pretty old to not support that res.

It's definitely big. lol

The screen is extremely bright and crisp. I have only played a couple games, but I thought they really looked good. My card seemed to hold up pretty well all things considered, but if I was playing some more action intensive stuff (which I do at times), I think my 2GB 6950 would struggle a good bit.

yeah 2560x1440 has almost double the pixels of 1080p so its quite a bit more demanding
