WAC DVDs are (with some exceptions) M.O.D. -- Manufactured On Demand -- as burned DVD-Rs. Because of this, as far as I know, none of their titles have ever gone out of print. Their Blu-rays are pressed, just like any commercial Blu-ray, but in small batches. They've been around just a tad over three years, so it's too early to tell if they'll ever let them go out of print. I would guess probably not, especially if they ever decide that QC on BD-Rs has gotten good enough to start burning them on demand.
If so, I suppose I understand why you did, but I would've hoped that it was clear from context that the "tad over three years" referred specifically to their Blu-ray releases, not their DVD releases.
"He sits there in his house watching the same stupid movie over and over again."
"Bad taste in films is not a criminal offense."
"Wait till you've seen it."

List of Twilight Time signed promotional titles.
List of Twilight Time Out of Print titles, with dates they went OOP

Ya, WAC confirmed a few years ago, I think on facebook when someone inquired if SPECIAL BULLETIN would ever come back, that they no longer had the rights to the film, and that's why it was discontinued and now goes for a small fortune. Not sure about the other titles they discontinued, but I assume there are similar rights issues - otherwise, why not keep them in print, as you say.

At least The Breaking Point has been rumoured to have gone over to Criterion.

Yes, I recalled Warners starting the MOD program longer ago as in the very beginning the titles could only be purchased from Warners website and international costumers could also purchase them. But there were issues surrounding the cost of shipment so Warners canned the international shipping.

Thank you @Akijama for the first post of this thread.
I looked everywhere for a full, and complete list of these releases, and wound up coming right back here !

So I have 6 so far, with the likelihood of 9 by February's end. Good to know.

In "The Wrong Man" thread, I just explained how to get a listing from the site:

Thank you very much, and with that added bit of knowledge, plus proof that Bull Moose did in fact get me my copy of Garp last year, I'm going to go with them over Amazon, even though Amazon's prices could drop slightly, but not enough to make me regret my decision.

WAC titles are $15.97 each, with no sales tax, and free First Class shipping.

Savings on 3 is $16.95 !!!

Well, The Wrong Man was announced for January, and I Confess for February. If there's a pattern, Suspicion should be coming in March.

Hopefully soon, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (both announced for release in Germany, although Cat has since been cancelled) won't be far behind.

okay guys, one short question:

Any news to the popular "Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated"-series being released on BD? Imo the only Scooby Doo Show which can stand the ground with the very first show from the 60ies.

I hope so. I've been tempted to pick up the DVDs a few times.

Suspicion is announced for release in Poland in March with 2 other WAC Hitchcocks on BD (Wrong Man + I Confess), so it's definitely coming soon
