Universal is region free.

Hopefully it is a good price though, because I'm pretty sure I'll get it

Also like to add the thing was ugly. Vengeance Trilogy tin quality, twice as fat as the old BoB tin (not the new slimmed down version) and no marking on the spine equals garbage. The actual cardboard packaging that holds the discs are all likely damaged because there's too much space inside to jostle it around.

If JP is anything like that, I would recommend buying some Royal Dansk cookies and just put your BDs inside of that.

I must say that the ugly purple spine with no markings of the BTTF tin was a major dissappointment. It looks bad on the shelf. Universal better not screw up again.

Maybe it deserves a special face forward placement on the shelf?

Definitely getting this, I don't care if it's steelbook or tin. JP is one of my all-time favorites and I've waited a long time for it to come out in blu. This is a must-buy for me. That they decided to release it in special packaging is just icing on the cake for me.

Is it just a tin or is it filled with extras like the BTTF tin? A tin seems kinda pointless to me if it only holds the Blu-ray box. I hope there are some extra things included, maybe a map of the island.

The artwork sucks but the size of the tin is the same as the BTTF set so I will be getting it to keep the collection going. I'm sure we will see future sets follow suit so will be nice to have a matching colection. If only the artwork was as nice as the BTTF tin

I'm OK with the artwork, its the tin I'm having an issue with. If this tin is anything like "The Pacific", it would be a little taller, and a bit wider than a normal G2 sized case. So not only will this beast stick "up" in your collection, but it will also stick "out" in your collection. I know this is a 6 discs set, so they needed a larger case. Me personally, I would have put these in a G1 sized case, so that it would only stick "up" in my collection. Theres no reason why this can't be 4 discs, and put in a G2 sized case. If FS was smart, thats what they should do.

Thats right, the BTTF tin is taller than BD cases. But a bit shorter than a DVD case. It is thicker than the Pacific or Band of Brothers steel tin.

+1 - dealbreaker for me as I don't want/have the space to be forced to 'display' these facing outwardly.
