My favorite is the Audio Refinement Multi 3. Sadly this is no longer in production but you can still find a used model if you look hard enough.

Audio Refinement is the budget line of YBA, so Yves-Bernard Andres designed this gear.

Another pro option would be the well reviewed Crown XLS 2000 (you would need 2 of these or three of them bridged to Mono).

There is a unit in excellent condition on Audiogon (prerich posted above), so grab it fast unless you really feel like flushing $600 down the toilet.

If you're looking at spending 2k why not give the XPR-5 a try. Tops you price range but heck you get 2 extra channels and with a whopping 400wx5 you will most probably never need to buy another power amp. And you get to try it for 30 days, really nothing to lose IMO.

Default Another monoblock option--Emotiva XPA-100

I have the Emotiva XPA-3 myself and I love it. Great amp with plenty of power.

This will fit within your budget too. 3 of them for less than $1,500.

http://shop.emotiva.com/collections/...roducts/xpa100

Has there been a comparison between using two XPA-100 vs the XPA-2 in terms of sound quality?

Oh, look, we have an Emotiva-basher/spammer making his rounds in the amplifier forum...

I'm sure there are a couple more Emotiva threads you can head into and crap on...
