I am shocked that nobody has mentioned the amazing and super talented Indie sweetheart, Brit Marling.

Girl is fantastic. Easily better than 98% of what has been listed thus far.

Also I give another nod to Elizabeth Olsen. Her performance in MMMMarlene was fantastic.

I would think that an actor/actress has to appear in at least 1 mainstream film in order to qualify as an potential "A" List star. Indie/foreign darlings ain't gonna cut it unless they prove themselves where it matters: Box Office. Whether they are more talented or not is irrelevant. If you're a nobody in Hollywood, the media won't care. My two cents.

I thought this was a thread about who we think the next A-list actor will be, not who are the 'new' A-list actors

lmfao she wouldn't have half the fan base she has without that movie. Is there a link to this? It's probably rumors.

I doubt it because she went and re-recorded a new longer version of "cups" that's all over top 40 radio now.

Even an animated movie about a butterfly who loses one of it's wings, and seeks help from other insects throughout a jungle to find a grand wizard insect who will heal the main butterfly up and save the day?

As for Statham, his stock will rise up even more than it already is come Summer 2014, if you catch my "drift"..........

I also wish Kristen Bell would become A-list.

Good list, these are indeed the closest things to A-List actors I expect to come.

That being said, I don't see another actor who is A-list to the extreme that Tom Cruise, or even Brad Pitt, is, ever existing again.

That's a very interesting thought, would you mind expanding on it? I could see movie stars becoming outdated in this day and age, I would also be fearful of what might take their place in the minds of regular people...

I don't see any of those people being effectively a guaranteed box-office success for over 30 consecutive years.

Do you think it'll be the same with directors, for all intents and purposes? The whole recent budget fiascos, especially with Verbinski and The Lone Ranger, may cause some problems in that particular marketing technique.

I don't know about 'A-list' but hopefully these are all people who get bigger and bigger roles.
Throw on Michael B. Jordan and this list is aces.

If Tom Holland continues to act, I predict he'll be a superstar (the main kid from The Impossible).

Since Jennifer Lawrence already has A-list status, I'll go with Chloe Grace Moretz as the surest bet, she's just fantastic in everything.
"...you should use your full name, I like that name.....Robin" Though Robin isn't a full name nor is it any of the Robin's actual names, David S Goyer, everyone! The "S" stands for Shitty Writer.
