Got this when Amazon price matched Best Buy at $7.99. Was amazed I got a slipcover with it. Total blind buy for me. I don't usually like CGI action fests but I love Del Toro so hoping it evens out.

Just picked this up at Best Buy for $7.99 3 Disc set BD with lenticular slipcover.

I must say that it is one heck of a deal for a fantastic Action/Adventure/Sci-Fi masterpiece.

Guillermo del Toro you surprise me with your talent!

Please elaborate. New editions have more bonus content?
(I bought the 3D edition)

It's back in the thread somewhere, but (if memory serves/pending corrective comments ) : the "Making Of" feature was originally on one of the "store-exclusive" versions (Wal-Mart?) and was added to a later, general release.

For anyone else looking:

UPC 883929328666 (4-Discs) 3D+BD+DVD
UPC 883929256518 (3-Discs) BD+DVD
UPC 883929353262 (4-discs) 3D+BD+DVD in Gipsy Danger Collector's Case
UPC 883929361533 (3-Discs) BD+DVD includes "The Making of Pacific Rim" Target Exclusive (On Disc)
UPC 883929361540 (3-Discs) BD+DVD includes "Pacific Rim: A History of Jaegers" Wal-Mart Exclusive (On Disc)
UPC 883929361526 (3-Discs) BD+DVD includes "The Anteverse" Best Buy Exclusive (Cinema Now Code)

eBay sellers who showed photos of the back of their PacRim cases made finding used copies including the featurettes pretty simple.

I haven't seen a new edition with all the special features. The 3D version I bought on release day says, "14 featurettes..." but does not include the retailer exclusives.

Ok , so wait. The 3D version had no store exclusives?

So the Walmart and Target bonuses would be on their respective BD Extras discs?

I combined two sets when I bought an incomplete 3D set, guess I better check those bonus discs...

I responded the other day, but the reply included photos, so mods need to approve the post before it appears since I'm a newbie on this forum.

The 3D version had no store exclusives.

Walmart and Target bonuses are on their "special features" discs.

Best Buy also had an exclusive featurette, but it's a Cinema Now code. I tried ordering it from their website today after not finding a copy at the store. I'll update my earlier post if it has a different UPC code and take a photo if it looks any different.

I'm curious if all this stuff will be on the 4K release.
