Genuflect away. But drop the faux butthurt and blatant hypocrisy. And go right on believing that a multi million dollar Hollywood film has no color timing or correction done on it.
1) It's still an opinion, he never saw the OCN. It's ludicrous to assume all films are treated the same way.

2) You kinda have a point, but, originally, I only included your post because you defended his assumption. Later I commented on what you said to Kaine (who you insulted, not KMFDMvsEnya, who you defended) because it was so self-serving and rude.

3) Never said it. We both know that all films are processed.

Look, let's just quit this buzzkill while we're both behind and let the thread get ahead.
You can only have too much ammo if you're on fire or swimming.

Remember, folks : it's only 88 days until Black Friday!!!

Well, we should all be able to agree that neither the BD, nor the DVD, nor the LaserDisc, nor the VHS, nor the theatrical prints, nor the approved answer prints, look like what was on the negative, in terms of color and density. Because finished films never look like what was on the negative. That's a given.

The real question should be how well the grading of the BD matches original answer prints. Because that's the only standard that really matters regarding the way any given film "should" look. The original camera negative is beside the point.

I went and watched it last night and I can assure you it wasn't shot with fluorescents despite what others think. It's apparent for varying reasons I won't go into here. But that's the end of it for me.
