You seriously need to get your head out of your a**. People's opinions are what they are. They are not wrong, no matter what their opinion is. Some people like going to the store and getting a bunch of movies for only $5. Times are tough right now. If it weren't for those Echo Bridge $5 releases with like 29 movies on them, some of us wouldn't be buying movies at all. My job is in trouble, so I stopped buying movies altogether for now. When you don't know someone else's situation, do not call them wrong, be ause guess what, that makes YOU wrong, and ignorant.

It doesn't have the best transfers but, they aren't too different from the Canadian triple pack. H20 looks the same as the Canadian transfer, just in open matte ratio(1:78.1). Curse looks exactly the same. Resurrection also looks the same, just in open matte. The only difference in the Canadian version are H20 and Resurrection are in their original ratios(though there isn't any picture loss with open matte) and H20 and Curse have much better audio. Still, a fine release for the price.
Last Bought: Side Effects, Gone Baby Gone Future Purchases: Stoker, Girls: Season 2, Walking Dead: Season 3, American Horror Story: Season 2 and Evil Dead(2013).
Have Pitch Perfect(UV and iTunes), Total Recall(UV), The Dark Knight Rises(UV) and Argo(UV) codes for trade. PM if interested. |

Do you really think that $28 for three movies is a "ridiculous amount of money"? I get that eight dollars is quite a bit cheaper but it's not like the Alliance one is some ludicrous amount. Any set that comes out under $10/movie with shipping is usually a good deal IMO. Obviously the EB is a better deal in terms of money alone though. Also, do you own both sets? Because from what I can tell from reviews it isn't just the AR that's different. Everything about H20 was terrible on the EB release according to this site, and while the Alliance once isn't winning any awards, rumor has it that it can pass for an OK catalog release. |

Haha, that's funny. I'm not upset about anything. I just find you rather annoying.

Wow. I finally got around to importing it and I must say, at least for H20, it's a night & day difference. Even when it's on one disc with two other feature length films. It surpasses the single release by EB so much it's sickening. The only (potential) good thing about having the EB release is that, if they release a proper version, you can own both versions and count the first one as a special open-matte blu where quality isn't the concern. And did I hear that straight earlier? They made Resurrection open-matte too? At least they did that one right the first time around.
$27 for one movie isn't a bad deal if you are importing, so that completely justifies the purchase IMO. My blu-ray budget for the month may have took a hit but I'd rather have this release than a bunch of sub-par ones. |

Well I know it is open matte compatible. It was filmed on Super 35.
