Default Friend looking for a 32"..

My mate is considering buying a HDTV - he is so used to my set up he cannot do without when he moves home! I got him over to the blu side also so he will be getting a PS3 shortly.. He is looking for a smaller tv tho, smaller than my 40" (prob 32" max) You guys recommend anything??? We're living Ireland where prices are sky high, but worth it! There are many deals online and in the shops, but what do you think is a must??

Cheers guys

Great thanks for the link. My first HDTV was a samsung and was fab - got the itch for 1080p though so had to upgrade!

He is considering a JVC LT-32DY8..

Your opinions please!

It's an HD Ready TV which means that it can't bring in a high def signal without a tuner. 1080i. with 2 hdmi connections. Personally, I would go after something with at least a Tuner in it. What are his limitations?

Do you mean he cant receive stations unless he has an integrated tuner? Ireland doesnt have freeview yet so that is not a problem. He will be using Sky HD for HD channels. I guess the only limitations is the limit on his credit card!

I own the same Sharp as Dutchboy. 32" 1080p with 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for a sharper image. I LOVE IT!!!! I would never trade in mine for any other bedroom size tv
