Default Sunfire SDS 10 @ 12

Hello, appreciate your thoughts on the SDS 10 @ 12. I have a limited budget, and to be honest, have approx $300 in Amazon Credit, and World Wide sells through amazon, so I think i can use.

My system:

Onkyo 805
KEF 3005SE (with 10 Inch Sub - htb2se)
Def Tech Prosub 200TL (which is a bit boomy, and not as accurate as I prefer)

70% HT/30% Music

I can afford the SDS 10, and stretch and get the 12. Thoughts?

many thanks!

Default I think I blew amp??True Subwoofer EQ 10 - TS-EQ10

So I have had a Bob Carver True Subwoofer EQ 10 - TS-EQ10 since 2006 in my 5.1 home theatre system. It has always been amazingly powerful and no problems UNTIL today.

I was listening to a blu ray of X-Men-First Class pretty loud and then heard the sub make a really loud noise I've never heard it do before.

It still turns on and see's the signal thru the rca input from the receiver but no sound comes out of it anymore.

Did I blow the amps? Could it just be a fuse (but it still powers on) Drivers? Where can I get it checked out or fixed locally? I live in Los Angeles.

Thanks
