Dr. Who (season 1)

Every Friday during lunch some co-workers and I grab a conference room and watch an episode of Dr. Who. We finally finished season 1 after a few months. Never watched a show in this manner. It is... terrible... to watch a show like this.

Anyways, the show is fantastic. The ideas and originality are stellar and some of the characters and story lines are terrific. The show gets pretty dark ("EXTERMINATE!") and pretty perverted ("Where did you get that from?", "You don't want to know") at times while still being full on geeky and family friendly.

I see it's free to view with my amazon prime account and I've held off on jumping ahead because it makes for a very fun Friday lunch time, but after starting season two today, I may have to start watching on my own.

This is a very good and unexpected show. Not really what I thought it was going to be given the title but it is a very good show.

I used to watch 3D movie in the cinema but I think it wastes time and money. My TV is a 3D TV. However, I don't know whether it is a Bluetooth one or an IR one. I don't know which glasses I should buy for my 3D TV. My TV model is Samsung UN55ES8000. Who can help?

One of the superior episodes. I do enjoy sodes with Danaerys, but all the kther character faired very well.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been watching episode after episode of World's Worst Tenants.

These people are frakking crazy.

The show basically follows these guys around who work with landlords and land owners to deal with stubborn tenants. These cases tend to be quite extreme, as these folks go through a routine notice or investigation and wind up finding some insane or illegal thing going on. They've run across vacant homes with squatters hanging out. There's been people running illegal food preparation stations and restaurants, which in one case caused a backup of animal blood in the plumbing, and in another case caused people to get sick. One guy rented a boat and smuggled fireworks with it. There was one old lady who liked to make glass phalluses on the property. One crazy guy refused to use toilets, and stored his waste. There's plenty of tenants engaging in drug-related behavior. And...well, you probably get the idea. They're the world's worst tenants!

The guys going around busting these tenants are pretty buff dudes, and one tough lady, and they aren't afraid of fights or dangerous situations. It seems like every case they show will involve a brawl or yelling match with the tenants. Sometimes it seems as though these investigators are pushy, but most tenants prove to be quite stubborn, stupid, and unreasonable. It can be quite an eye-opener to see what crazy things people do in property that's not even theirs. All the while, the hosts make it pretty clear what the laws are and what they are and aren't doing (even if they don't make it clear on the scene with the tenants at the time). It's a little hard to tell if the hosts are purposefully pushing things to bring out some TV drama, but seeing as they're risking a lot to do so, I'd say it's just because they're total badasses.

This show is pretty typical reality-TV show fare, with documentary-style cameras galore and (I assume) unscripted events.

I think it's a morbidly fascinating and strangely addictive show to watch. Best thing since Fear Factor.
