Thanks. Tried it with pictures of him from the interwebz, but it looks awful. On the site it looks decent, but when you go to implement it into the game, it looks so bad. Oh well. =/

Finally got around to play it. They still force you to have a DualShock on to play with the Move and the Navigation. Can't believe they haven't fixed that shit.

I didn't see any Blu-Ray Country Clubs set up on here. I have started a Country Club called Eagle Eye. I have it setup for Pro level. It'd be cool if anyone here wants to join so we can all get the bonus points, coins, and possibly enter some of the tournaments. If you've got any friends that would like to join too that would be great. Hopefully i'll see some of you guys on the course.

Is it on 360? Also, can you join more than one CC?

Wasn't it that way in '11? I skipped '12. Three years without fixing it is pretty absurd.

Just picked this up in the 13/13 sale. Used to play on the Wii, but I hurt my shoulder.

I am using Dualshock only, and I am having trouble with stroke control using the left stick. It demands a pretty precise, straight back/forth motion, which is not the natural motion of the left thumb, which is more of an arc. Thus, I'm missing most of my shots left when holding the controller the usual way. I can compensate somewhat by holding the controller sideways and using a straight left/right thumb motion, but I don't have very good tempo control that way. Any tips for overcoming this would be appreciated. Also, is it good with the Move?

I had the same problem when I first started. Try reaching your right thumb over to the left stick. It seems to be a bit more stable that way.

Anyone recommend this game with the move controller? Loved it on the wii when I had that console for 2 weeks so I would be interested in dusting off my move for this if it's worth it.

See the Orbis thread. No one cares about the move, as far as I can tell. If it made this game better, I might try it out, but no one has responded to either of us on that.

I've mostly been playing this on the amateur setting. It's ridiculously easy in career mode. It's actually how a casual game mode should be. Unfortunately, the step up to Pro mode is steep. And it's not that I can't win tournaments on Pro, but I get angry playing. The game is asking me to move the stick with fine muscle control that my nervous system simply can not perceive via proprioceptive feeback and whatnot. I can not make a putt that is not overswing back and slow forward, and most of my full swings are the same combo, but I can make up for those in my shot setup, whereas the putts are not forgiving.

It seems that you can move up the rankings faster playing other than Amateur mode, but if you're winning less, it might be a wash, and it does reduce your progress toward course mastery.

Why not try? I'll be trying it out sometime next week. If I recall, I'll let you know what it's like. For what it's worth, TW PGA 12 DEMO was a blast with MOVE.

Have you tried it yet.

I'm nearly finished with career mode...on my second to last Masters tournament, and will be finished with all courses on gold mastery at about the same time I finish the seventh Masters.

I find the swing difficulty above amateur to be completely impossible to master, unless you avoid draws and fades altogether. I don't think it's physically possible to accurately move the stick at a 5-10 degree right to left or left to right angle. It feels designed to draw itself back into vertical as if with a groove or spring. I've never opened a DS3, so I don't know what its guts are.

Other issues are putts that don't break early despite being hit softly. Putts that will absolutely not break into the cup from the side. You're better off lining up a putt to break before the cup and looking like it will miss just short. Trees that knock your ball straight down every single time, even if you just brush them. Wind has no effect on approach shots, say within 50-60 yards, no matter the loft. Second cut is virtually like Velcro. Ball hits it and seizes up completely.

If you really love golf, this game has tons and tons of value, but by know it's getting a little old. Well worth $10, though.

Is this still alive?

I need help with Play Date.

Could also use a head to head from a clubhouse lobby.
