Will buy now at this price point.

I get these as relics for the future, rather than if i have the movies or not. This is an amazing keepsake to sure the future generation. I love Universals one, and this one looks just as good.

Interesting that they would only include the first Harry Potter movie and not the rest.

In any case, bad buy for me. All the titles I would want in that list, I already own.

Including 8 Harry potter movies in a Best of 50 colection would not make any sense.

Then don't include just one. Pretty simple to me.

The first works perfectly fine as a standalone film

The problem is the choices don't make any sense. While having just the original Matrix makes sense, it makes no sense from there to pick just the first HP and Nolan's second Batman (ignoring the Burton-Schumacher series completely), yet include all three LOTRs.
BD players: PS3 Slim 250GB; Sherwood BDP-5004 (region-free); HP P7-1010 w/ LG WH12LS38K, AMD HD 6570, TMT 3, 5 & 6, PDVD 11, Nero 11
A/V hardware: Vizio E3D320VX 3DTV; Sony HT-SS380; Vizio Co-Star (Google TV); Radiient HDMI switch (PC also has Hanns-G HL227 & Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers)

It's a Best of Warner Bros. collection where like half, more than half?, of the movies aren't even from Warner Bros. There's very little coherence to the choices for this set beyond popular/famous movies previously released on Blu-ray by WHV.

$149.95 at Costco after $40 rebate. I couldn't resist.

Edit: redeemed the UV code and can confirm that every one of these is HDx. So $3 per HDX movie and I get the Blu-ray discs and packaging for free. Not bad.

Took up the Gold Box offer at amazon for $178.99.

This looks like a real gem. I have 18 of them already but that just means i can keep 18 discs in here untouched and preserved.

I hope the disc books are better quality than the Universal collection. That's a chore to flick through and feels like it could fall apart at any moment. Collections like these deserve better.

Now, over to you 20th Century Fox!

I already own 15 of the films included in this set but I decided to buy it as a Birthday present to myself which is March 9th this sunday.Because how am I going to see Citzen Kane & Casablanic two classic films I haven't seen other then this set.Plus where I'm I going to get Willy Wonka,The Matrix,Natural Born Killers,Lord of the Rings & The Hangover plus more all in one place.
The titles I already own are:
A Clockwork Orange
The Exorcist
Full Metal Jacket
Goodfellas
Gone with the Wind
Hangover
Lethal Weapon
Natural Born Killers
Dark Knight
Sherlock Holmes
The Shinning
Superman the Movie
& Possibly more
I'll sell those editions.

I'd perfer a single Blu-ray case per film but hey I also receive A UV code for all of the films of which one I already redeemed a code for which was the exorcist.

WHy did they include Shawshank instead? I would've preferred Citizen Kane over Casablanca.

TBH I'd wish Miramax did this because I love Miramax more then Warner Brothers also they're my favorite film disturbuator.

Here's what I would like in a 50+ Film Miramax collection:
140 Days and 40 Nights
2Adventureland
3Albino Aligator
4Amelie
5Avaittor
6Bad Santa'
7Becoming Jane
8Blindness
9Brothers Grim
10Chasing Amy
11Chicago
12Children of the Corn II:The Final Sacarfice
13City of God
14Clerks
15Confessions of A Dangerous Mind
16The Crow
17Curdled
18Don't Be Afaird of the Dark
19Don't Be A Menace
20Dracula 2000
21Equilibruim
22Extract
23The Faculty
24Four Rooms
25From Dusk till Dawn
26From Dusk till Dawn 3:The Hangmans Daughter
27Frida
28Good Will Hunting
29Halloween H20
30The Grifters
31Hellraiser 5:Inferno
32Hostage
33Jackie Brown
34Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
35Kill Bill VOL 1
36Kill Bill VOL 2
37Legend of Drukend Master
38Mimic
39No Country for Old Men
40Operation COndron
41The Others
42The Prophecy
43Pulp Fiction
44The Queen
45Reindeer Games
46Rounders
47Scary Movie
48Scary Movie 2
49Scream
50Scream 2
51Scream 3
52Shakespear in Love
53Sin City
54Spy Kids
55Spy Kids 2
56Spy Kids 3
57Supercop

If you were to chose a film disturbator to release a 50 & more blu-ray collection what would it be & what films would you chose?
What films would you chose for a Miramax collection?
What films would you have preferred for this Warner Brothers set?
