This is a really good thread idea. I always see members say they just saw a certain on tv and of course, I didn't know and missed it. I will definitely be checking back and posting movies that are worth a view.

im gonna have to record Rec 3.... i havent seen the 2nd yet...

probably becuase i didnt like the first lol....but ill still check out the sequels... they have potential.

I was surprised to see it on TV so early. The trailers didn't look good to me, but I just recorded it since it's one of the better horror franchises right now.

What? Why? The first one is legitimately scary. I especially love the funhouse feel to it. And it's also the best found-footage horror flick by a mile, imo.

The second one though... Well... The first half or so is pretty fun and entertaining. But the ending, they jumped the shark.

Everyone in my Film and TV production lecture hated the hell out of Brazil...hated to be that guy, but they didn't get it...but since I didn't know them, I had to bite my tongue and act cool as well. So Brazil sucks!!!

I caught the middle part (I think) before on the same channel. I don't feel like watching the entire film yet. Also not a fan of Gilliam's style.

It's a very good sci-fi film, although it feels a lot like a bunch of interconnected sketches that tie together through theme and a thin thread of story, and not a wholly coherent film.

The ending is completely baffling though and it's the only film that features the line

pre-getting-it-on scene.

It's worth a watch once, since it's probably Gilliam's most complete, mature and personal film, it also has a kicker of a production story.
