Amazing the standards we have now for violence, I think of all the Friday The 13th flicks of the 80's all being cut to obtain an R back then.... they could be shown uncut on TV now (violence- wise of course)
It's weird how this movie is more violent than the original, yet somehow that one can't get an NC-17 and this one passed with an R rating.
Last Bought: Game of Thrones: Season 4, Birdman, Penny Dreadful: Season 1, In Fear, 300: Rise of An Empire, The Grand Budapest Hotel Future Purchases: X-Men: Days of Future Past: Extended Cut, American Horror Story: Freak Show, Whiplash.

Sp apparently a station in the UK ran a very special Extended edition of the film last night. It apparently had extended sequences of scenes and a new extended ending as well. I'm hoping that someone capped it so it shows up online at some point as it seems unlikely we'll ever get an uncut release in the states. But for now... enjoy the clips.

Interesting, thanks. I'm glad they cut that stuff out because the acting and dialogue weren't good. Although I would have been happy if they kept the shots of
[Show spoiler]Lou Taylor Pucci burning
. I did like the extended ending but it was basically a
[Show spoiler]tongue-in-cheek way of confirming that she definitely lived.

They need to give us an extended cut at some point.
