I did though enjoy his Crimson Cloak? series. I was more into the Dragonlance series mostly Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman's books, and am eagerly anticipating the newest Dragons book with Raistlin in it.

Hands down my favorite Forgotten Realms series was when the Gods were banished, and Kelemvor, Cyric, and Midnight had to return the tablets to the Gods, and also there was a series about the Goddess and the Isles, where the Beast was corrupting everybody and the Moonpools? It has the book Black Wizards in it.

Fantasy wise though in general, my favorite series has to be David Farland's original 4 Runelords books. The newest ones don't quite seem up to par with the originals, but I am still enjoying them.
OH MY GOD! Shadowdale! Tantris! Waterdeep! Prince of Lies! I thought I was one of like, 5000 people that read those books! Those books are my absolute favorite outside of the Drizzt series!!!!!!!!!! And I have read the Pools aswell. I feel like an idiot because I pawned some first edition versions of them back to the used book store I got them from when I was finished, and now I am a collector of Forgotten Realms books. I have pretty much every book you can think of, in their first editions, including every book in the Harper series.
I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

Have you read the Demon Wars Saga by Salvatore? I believe it is 7 books, but it is an amazing series. As a big Drizzt fan, I have to say it is his best work.
I loved Legacy, Starless, Seige, and Passage aswell. Second best series I would say. And yeah I have read the Demon War Saga. I enjoyed them but I am spoiled to the Forgotten Realm world of Faerun.

Wow this sounds nerdy.

Oh, a real life scary book I read:

The Puzzle Palace - Inside the National Security Agency America's most secret intelligence agency.

There was one quote in there that just shocked me.

Despite its size and power, however, no law has ever been enacted prohibiting the NSA from engaging in any activity. There are only laws to prohibit any release of information about the Agency.

It's scary what they were getting away with behind America's back.

The only Harper book I have has to do with Shandil Shessair and the Spellfire series. Loved that series!

I've been reading Summer Knight by Jim Butcher on the way into work. It's book 4 of the Dresden Files: about a wizard/detective who investigates otherworldly crimes and usually gets severely injured and assaulted before stopping the villain. Great series.

I forgot how to read. I just stare at the pretty pictures. I'm really enjoying a Winnie the Pooh book currently. He always wants his honey. And I'm going to visit him someday and bring him his honey. Then I'm gonna shoot tigers f****** tail off because he won't stay still!!!!

I liked the Spellfire series until the end... then it got terrible. I actually have all 3 books autographed by Ed Greenwood.

It's sad when you've been reading the same author for years and they pass away. Jack Chalker was one of the ones that hit me the hardest, I've always enjoyed the Well World series and hoped more of them would come out, I hope he is resting in peace.
They are not kiddie books. You will like them I ALMOST guarantee it.
RIP Nav. I will miss you buddy.
