They are, but on a separate ISP that your internet provider has to support.

(Didn't realize your post was from last year...)

I sent an e-mail to my ISP (Wowway) asking them if they were planning on being compatible with Netflix 3D streaming. I never did get an answer back but this past Saturday I finally remembered to go to the 3D section on Netflix. To my surprise I was able to stream in 3D. The last three days I have been streaming and having a blast. They have more than a handful of titles and will be adding more but it's enough to get started.

The quality of the streaming and PQ were as good as 2D and had me smiling. There weren't a lot of top tier movies but I'm sure in time that will change. If you can stream in 3D from Netflix, try Scary Tales. It 2 stories per show about classic fairy tales. The 3D on them has good depth and some stories had ghosting where others didn't.

Thanks! I've been waiting for this to happen!

Looks like some pretty decent content. Hopefully, they add more big studio 3D movies soon.

Darn, if only Netflix had earlier found out that the Norwegian "Magic Silver 2" was (rather painfully) in 3D, we could've gotten that rare import as well.
But no, I'm here stuck on the outside with Comcast.

I know the PS3 will do Netflix 3D, but what other devices can do 3D? Is it only the PS3? Will Roku or any Blu-ray players do it?

I was looking for a 3D section on Netflix using my Oppo 103 and didn't find it. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised that with my PS3 I was able to stream in 3D. My ISP is Woway.com.

Isn't it true that its just not your PS3 but your ISP should support it?

Correct, the ISP has to support Netflix's new delivery method (such a scam). Its very limited in the US at the moment, I think Cablevision is one of the few that offer it. Fios needs to get on board with this

I really hope my stupid Time warner supports it as I can stop wasting money on 3D blus and also it adds value to the crappy Netflix online content now.

I still don't understand why vudu can offer 3d with standard high speed Internet but Netflix can't.

Looks like, for now, only the PS3 and I think a few LG TVs are able to do the Netflix 3D.

Also I noticed Scar on the list of 3D movies today. I tried watching this not in 3D, but it was just plain bad.

I watched Sky Soldier today since it won a broadcast award at the 2013 3D Creative Arts Awards. It's about a Vietnam helicopter pilot who took 3D photos during his tours and sent them back home to his wife. These are the only known existing 3D photos of the war, and they have very nice depth. The scope of the 3D is kind of limited, but what's there is great. He was an excellent photographer and seems like an even better person. It's a touching tribute to him and his family and his 3D photo collection. Highly recommended, especially compared to some of the other VOD cheapies.

From what I read (so take with a grain of salt), it all comes down to bandwidth. Netflix apparently has some super magic contraption that is provided (sold) to the ISP. This somehow provides the larger streams to the end household without using up as much bandwidth. My guess is both Netflix and the ISP benefit from this since not as much bandwidth is being used to stream the 3d and Super HD movies. There are already some people out there working on ways to "trick" Netflix into thinking you are on one of their providers.

I registered here just to warn about 3dparty.org. I tried a 2 disc subscription at 3dparty.org. Since im in the same state its a better value then per disc. I have to say im hugely disappointed. I signed up on the 15th of feb. First two titles shipped the next day and recieved about 4-5 days later ( i am in the same state).I thought this was a little long but ok. I returned them the day after i got them and since they have not shipped the next two. Countless emails go unanswered and phone calls are met with "the google subscriber cannot be reached, leave a message". No return phone calls. My next step is to call my cc company to see if i have any recourse, i wished i used a prepaid cc. I highly recommend against them.
