I'm afraid I've no idea, I got an email from PlayStation giving me a code. Currently PS+ is £30 for a year so I'm going to sign up for the full term.

Today I've downloaded Infamous2 and Bulletstorm to add to Motorstorm Apocalypse and Ratch and Clank.

The bigger games do take an age to download (unless you're lucky and on fibre) but so far I must downloaded well over £30 worth of games in my first three weeks of being on the service!

Yes, because we all know that when PS4 comes out all PS3 owners will immediately go out and buy one and chuck their PS3s in the bin, because who wants "last-gen" hardware? It's totally useless!

I love my Plus membership, it's easily worth it. In all honesty, I don't even have enough time to play all the free games they're giving out, but I've still already gotten my money's worth from the titles I have played. And then there's the features like the Cloud backups (great for protected saves) and automatic updates.

Currently playing through Rochard, which I probably would have never looked at if it wasn't included, but it's a really solid game. It's like Portal mixed with a side-scrolling shooter.

Rochard Game Review - YouTube
I would of never looked at it either. There are a few games like Rochard that I tried because of PS+ and ended up liking it and picking up all of the DLC.

I'm on that 30 day trial too and I'm sold already. I was just wondering, if I paid the £29.99 and got the Year Subscription, will it stack ontop of the 30 days trial? Or will I lose the 30 days?

It will add 365 days to how ever long you've got left, so don't worry.

At first it was alright and not really worth it, honestly, but now it is absolutely worth every penny. They have a lot, a lot of very cheap/very free content, including free games every month.

This coming from a guy who hates subscriptions.
