Default ARROW VIDEO question

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

As many horror fans know ARROW video released great films on bd. Some are now OOP but still sell on amazons third party sellers. I wanna buy some but it wont let me due to the fact I live in the states not UK.

Is there any way to get around this? I really wanna buy these films on bd/dvd.

Is there another site to buy these films besides arrows own site?

You mean third party sellers on the UK site? Yeah, that regularly happens, and it's annoying. Most third party sellers on the UK site only ship to the UK. Buying it directly is the best option. Did you check the listings on the US site as well? Sometimes the US listings are around the same price as the UK ones.

Just buy them from sellers on the US Amazon site.

yes amazon.com tends to be more then the uk site, since it's mainly by third party sellers

i've gotten lucky and other then a cheap copy of the deep red release from amazon and the limited battle royale from amazon.co.uk everything else has come from sellers and trades on here

At least the titles you're after are still available from someone. Sometimes you just have to plunk down hard cash to get what you want. Like has been said: With the emergence of the Internet, nothing's rare anymore, only expensive.

You could get a UK mate to buy them and ship them to you, but you'd probably end up paying just as much.

There's no simple way around Amazon's sellers only shipping to the UK, but perhaps you could contact the sellers directly and see if they won't make an exception in your case.

I've been wanting Arrow's DAWN OF THE DEAD & DAY OF THE DEAD blus but I'm not willing to spend $50+. Many but not all titles from Amazon. UK will ship to the US no problem and I'm very happy with the purchases I've made through them. EBay may be your best bet with select titles but it comes down to what you are willing to pay.

Arrow do ship to the US from their site but obviously they might not have OOP items for sale. They do occasionally get stock of the harder to find titles.

Check ebay.co.uk as well, you may have a pretty good chance on there.

Tough turkey. You're the one who wants OOP titles.

If you want the OOP titles, be prepared to pay extra.

Unfortunately, that's going to likely be the case when it comes to OOP titles that are still in demand. Case in point, look at the sold-out Twilight Time titles, and see how much they sell for on eBay...
