Django and Evil Dead SteelBook for $11 each! I thought they were Target exclusive, they don't have a pitcher of them put it clearly states they are SteelBooks. I already have the standard editions of Django & Evil Dead and don't really want to double dip.

Edit: I just noticed it says the release date for both of those are May 20th tho, so maybe they are both getting new SteelBooks? They also have Law Abiding Citizen, Lawless & Lords of Salem SteelBooks

listed for same price and release dates, i wasn't even away those had or where getting SteelBooks. Does any one know anything about this?

Also i noticed they have have the new batch of Reel Heroes SteelBooks for $13 each, $2 cheaper then the next lowest i have seen, but i haven't done much looking.

Seriously, how do you keep getting them, yet I've NEVER got one and I've been using their site for years!

Yeah, that sucks. I dunno, I guess they just like me. The email header says Price Drops on Your FamilyVideo.com Wish List Products! and this is what is included in the email...

The code usually always expires the next day, so if I see something I want, I usually place my order with the code right away.

Did they always do this or is this price drop alert a new thing?

This is only somewhat related, but I seem to have received the same coupon on Sunday. I say seem to, because it doesn't actually appear in my inbox, but when I search my email for 'familyvideo' it comes up in the search results. When I click on it, I just get a message that the email can't be opened. It has the same subject line as what you posted though. I wonder how many free shipping codes I've missed out on and if it's a problem on their end or Yahoo's.

Our Family Video had their 1 year anniversary sale this past weekend and they had some pretty decent deals. Nothing compared to you guys in the States, but good for up here in Canada I guess. Any new release blu was $9.99 with older blu's going for 2 for $10. Grabbed these 6 for $44.

Trust me, you won't be sorry. The 2 FV's by me always have great deals and quite a few in stock with slips. Be well worth the trip for you.

Just bought The Bourne Legacy (with slip) & To Rome With Love for $5 total, both blind buys. My store has had a bunch of Bourne Legacy's for $5 for the longest time and i knew eventually they would fall to $3/2 for $5 so my waiting finally paid off. Kind of already regret getting To Rome with Love tho, i was having a hard time trying to decide what the second movie should be, i saw it was directed by Woody Allen & has Jessie Eisenberg in so assumed it would be good, but when i got home i checked the Rotten Tomatoes score and it is just average (critics and audience in the 40's). I wish i had a smart phone/internet on my phone so i could have checked beforehand, oh well i'm sure if i don't like it i can proly sell it for like $2 and it will pretty much just be a wash.

Wow looking at Woody Allen's Rotten Tomatoes page and didn't realize how many movies he has directed, he has done at least one every year since 1982, that is pretty crazy and would think he is close if not already have the record for most years in a row with a movie or something like that. Also it looks like a lot of his recent movies have bin in the 40%. Honestly tho i don't think i have seen any Woody Allen movies, i don't really care for romance movies, which is another reason i regret getting it, i kind of wish i got The Possession instead, has about the same reviews, but couldn't remember if that was a horror movie that has terrible reviews like a lot of the other ones.

His alleged moral failings aside, Allen is without a doubt one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. To Rome with Love is a very minor work, but I enjoyed it. I'd get it for a couple bucks someday.

I have to disagree, not having DTS-HD HIGH RESOLUTION AUDIO is much, much worse but i will agree not having SF stinks, just not as stinky.

If you have a 3d set up,it is a complete waste to buy the standard 2D version at Family Video unless they are selling the 3D version used as well but i have yet to see any that are, heck i don't even see the rental version for the 3D version as a matter of fact which is odd.
