Jesper Christensen (Mr. White) was also credited with telling a Danish journalist that he thought the Bond films he had been in were crap. Didn't take long before everyone bought into it and speculated that he would be written out of the next films because of it.

Of course, he never actually said those things. The journalist just basically made it up from various interview fragments.

So... I want a source on that story before I buy it.
Redheads are just like blondes... on fire.

Remember all the crap Craig got when he first landed the role and he turned out great. Fassbender is a worthy choice.

Sorry guys, it's 2015. The next Bond either has to be black or a woman.

I would actually love to see a female secret agent. Just maybe not as Bond.

Kerry Washington is Jane Bond. I would go see that.
I would trade all of your souls for it to be Dec 18 already.

Default Choice for the New Bond

Everyone is forgetting the most obvious contender for the role of Bond.

Burn Gorman.

Now he as James Bond would get me into the movie theatre!

I don't know about Bond, but he would be a damn good Bond villain.

I'm not a huge Bond fan by any means, though Craig got me back in the game. But I agree those suggesting Fassbender. He'd be perfect.

Well, the fact of the matter is that he's probably perfect for anything.
MOST ANTICIPATED: Knight of Cups, Mockingjay2, Mistress America, Carol, Neon Demon, Personal Shopper, Macbeth, The Lobster, Joy, Steve Jobs, Amy, Dark Places, The Assassin

Of course I have a source. I just don't want to reveal that source; which isn't unusual as far as "sources" go.

Despite this news being widely known on the SPECTRE set, I'm still telling you something that you're not supposed to know yet - just because, as a fan, my mind was pretty boggled by the information. The most interesting thing is that I can't figure out what could happen in the film that would make it "impossible" for Craig to return unless a) they're killing Bond, which is impossible or b) they're going to reveal that Bond isn't Bond, perhaps by embracing the idea that "James Bond" is just a codename? None of these sound likely to me but I've no other ideas.

It'd be fun to have that conversation but - as ever - some people want to discuss the person posting rather than the post itself.

I understand the desire for a definite source but a) I work in the industry and don't want to compromise myself (same reason I'm not hawking this information around) and b) if you think I'm enough of a dick to make up posts like this for some weird reason, I can't see how I couldn't also be enough of a dick to make up a source.

That said, my source is one of the following:

Barbara Broccoli
Daniel Craig
Sam Mendes
Christophe Waltz
Michael Wilson
Ralph Fiennes
Monica Bellucci

Any of which I would say would be an impeccable source, wouldn't you? But if you didn't believe me before, why would you believe me now?

But the only way this info is wrong is if the source was intentionally bull-shitting me, which doesn't seem likely, given the context in which it came up.

So it's safe for the non-doubters to discuss this news without feeling like a fool, I promise.

Definitely. He should even keep his real name in the movie. "Burn Gorman" sounds like a Bond villain.

Such a shame that P. Diddy gave up the ghost and reused his test footage for his cologne commercial, James Ground is the hero we need.
There’s something big and powerful and wise, and it’s begging us to end its worthless life. So let’s be Temple Grandin for the night, and find a friendly way to make it die.

I would totally be on board with them embracing the code name theory with the next recast, which would allow for any race or gender.
