Not sure what the critics thought, assuming that they were mostly not positive, but my guilty pleasure is Forces of Nature... Definitely wouldn't consider it a 'love' for the film, but I fell real hard for Sandy when I watched it, and I actually like Affleck for the most part.

John Carter
The Transformers Trilogy
Bad Boys II
Most of the Fast & Furious franchise
Disturbia
The last two Lethal Weapons
MacGruber
The Mummy 1 & 2
Not sure if Predators (2010) and Prometheus count
Shooter
Spider-Man 3 and Indiana Jones 4 (do these even count? internet people hate them, but they got good reviews)
Step Brothers
Taken
Terminator Salvation
The Underworld franchise
Van Helsing
Watchmen
The Wolfman (2010)

Some of these may not count, but most of them are not fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. The ones that are seem to get a ton of hate from the interwebs.

I always liked "The Beach" with Leonardo Dicaprio. It appeals to my sense of adventure. When I was younger I wanted to just pick up and go like that. I bet it would look amazing on Blu-ray too.

There is something about Hudson Hawk with Bruce Willis that I love lol. Critics tanked it.

I think more people like these particular films than you realize. Both Indy 4 and Spidey 3 seem to be divided equally among fans (I liked Indy, but not Spidey so much). Taken seems to be well liked by the majority (I liked it) but the sequel seems to have gotten hammered by critics. Prometheus and Watchmen have their problems, but also have a lot to like about them. I can do without Terminator Salvation, but I don't recall a whole lot of hate for it; just kind of a lukewarm reception.

You can add Maximum Overdrive to my list of movies that critics hated but I loved.

That was the first time I had ever heard of a cappuccino. I was like, "Cappuccino? What the hell is a cappuccino?!" My mother said, "It's a fancy coffee, usually drank by hoity-toity people in expensive restaurants."

Now people drink 'em like they're pulling another Pepsi off of the six-pack. lol

Fair enough. 4 of the ones you highlighted have a fresh RT score. So, those should be omitted from my post. I didn't even realize Prometheus had a 74%. I thought it was rotten.

Well, looks like I'm adding The Lone Ranger to my long list of movies I love but critics hate.

I love a couple of films directed by John Byrum that were savaged by critics:
