Not sure what the critics thought, assuming that they were mostly not positive, but my guilty pleasure is Forces of Nature... Definitely wouldn't consider it a 'love' for the film, but I fell real hard for Sandy when I watched it, and I actually like Affleck for the most part.

John Carter
The Transformers Trilogy
Bad Boys II
Most of the Fast & Furious franchise
Disturbia
The last two Lethal Weapons
MacGruber
The Mummy 1 & 2
Not sure if Predators (2010) and Prometheus count
Shooter
Spider-Man 3 and Indiana Jones 4 (do these even count? internet people hate them, but they got good reviews)
Step Brothers
Taken
Terminator Salvation
The Underworld franchise
Van Helsing
Watchmen
The Wolfman (2010)

Some of these may not count, but most of them are not fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. The ones that are seem to get a ton of hate from the interwebs.

I always liked "The Beach" with Leonardo Dicaprio. It appeals to my sense of adventure. When I was younger I wanted to just pick up and go like that. I bet it would look amazing on Blu-ray too.

There is something about Hudson Hawk with Bruce Willis that I love lol. Critics tanked it.

I think more people like these particular films than you realize. Both Indy 4 and Spidey 3 seem to be divided equally among fans (I liked Indy, but not Spidey so much). Taken seems to be well liked by the majority (I liked it) but the sequel seems to have gotten hammered by critics. Prometheus and Watchmen have their problems, but also have a lot to like about them. I can do without Terminator Salvation, but I don't recall a whole lot of hate for it; just kind of a lukewarm reception.

You can add Maximum Overdrive to my list of movies that critics hated but I loved.

That was the first time I had ever heard of a cappuccino. I was like, "Cappuccino? What the hell is a cappuccino?!" My mother said, "It's a fancy coffee, usually drank by hoity-toity people in expensive restaurants."

Now people drink 'em like they're pulling another Pepsi off of the six-pack. lol

Fair enough. 4 of the ones you highlighted have a fresh RT score. So, those should be omitted from my post. I didn't even realize Prometheus had a 74%. I thought it was rotten.

How this is even possible that Birth was rated so lowly by critics is something I won't understand. Absolutely a stunning masterpiece and one of the best films of that year -- a truly underrated film. I thought Nicole Kidman should have won Best Actress. Her performance was so powerful. I also love the score by Desplat and the way it so hauntingly synched with the direction. The opening scene is one of my favorite opening scenes in any movie.

As to some films I've loved that a lot of critics hated:

Speed Racer
Cloud Atlas
Sucker Punch
Anything by M. Night Shyamalan (I especially never understood the hate for The Village, which is now one of my most wanted Blu-ray's still unavailable)
Tron Legacy
Recent(ish) Cameron Crowe films: Vanilla Sky, Elizabethtown, We Bought a Zoo
Rodriguez's Kids/Family Films: The Sky Kids series, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, Shorts

I'm sure there are plenty of others... but these spring to mind.

I could probably form a longer list of movies I loved that critics responded to with only mild enthusiasm.
