Picked up a copy at Target yesterday and watched 7 episodes back-to-back. This was a blind buy for me around Black Friday when I got S1 and S2 for $11.99 each, and it's quickly become one of my favorite TV shows in recent memory.

I just finished the 3rd season (in 3 nights) and thought it was superb. No one can match the brilliant Margo Martindale as Mags in Season 2, but I was not at all disappointed in this season's bad guys and thought the closing bit was harrowing.

It was a good season. Glad you enjoyed it! I can't wait until Season 4

Boyd Crowder is my favorite character on the show.

Can we have a confirmation on the regions of season 3 BD? Amazon.com says it is region free (Amazon.co.uk have stopped selling the US BD imports!).

Has anybody else noticed on the season finale, at 31 min 26, the huge macroblocking issue combined with banding ?

I have absolutely no issue with the PQ of the BD Set for the 3rd season, but these 4 seconds struck me as highly problematic.

So far I would rank the seasons as;
1. Season Two
2. Season Four
3. Season Three
4. Season One

Justified is one of my favourite shows on television. Theres one gripe I have. Only one but it's unfortunately a doozy. What I love about the show? Basically everything. It's remarkable how well written and executed the dialogue is and how perfectly cast basically every character is. The music is top notch, the cinematography is excellent and the acting, OH THE ACTING! In all these area's, Justified is among the best on television. Plain and simple.

My one issue is that the writers seem to have trouble with stories. I'm a fan of the show so I don't like admitting it, but much of the time the stories are pretty mediocre. As you can see, my favourite seasons are the second and fourth. It feels, to me personally, as if it takes them a whole season to come up with something engaging and interesting.

Season 1 can be forgiven, it got things off the ground and even though I ranked it last, that doesn't mean it's bad by any means. Season 3 suffered the same problem I had with season 1, that the story lines just weren't that interesting. However, in saying that, Season 3 was also a big improvement over Season 1 overall.

Season 4 was terrific and Season 2 was one of the best seasons of any television show I've ever watched. Perfect plain and simple. No complaints.

A great blu-ray release for season 3 and though it's not my favourite season, there's a lot to love about it!

I agree with rank but I would switch season one with three because "you'll never leave Harlan alive" doesn't play at the end of three. I just like the use of the song to end the season.

I have been searching a few walmarts for the bluray set with the extra disc. I have founf the dvd set but not the bluray. I can't figure out why they would carry the dvd and not the bluray season.
