Trailer looks great. Let's hope it's as funny as the first.

Saw an advanced screening of this last week, I'd say it's a 6/10 for me. It's definitely very funny, but not as good as the first film.

Not really spoiler-y, but I'll cover this criticism just in case:
[Show spoiler]Really my problem was that they turned Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day's characters into absolute morons, like I'm surprised they can function on their own the way they acted the majority of the duration of the film. Day has a few moments of intelligence, but overall they both just seemed way more stupid in this compared to the original. Really frustrating.

However, it's still a hilarious movie and Jennifer Aniston's character is great as always.

Comedies are so subjective, therefore I never pay any attention to the critics.

Just read the review of the movie on this site.

He hated the first one, and now he is trashing the 2nd outing.
Big surprise.

It really doesn't make any sense to me.
It should be someone who likes the first one, don't you think?

I really enjoyed the first one.

I liked it, jokes were quite fast and despite being low brow I laughed a lot, I'll pretty much laugh at anything Charlie Day does.

The review on the first page is ridiculously harsh though,
[Show spoiler]Charlie Day was never a good dentist assistant, he only worked there because he couldn't get work elsewhere and Jennifer Anniston wanted to bang him.

If there's anything I disliked, there's a joke towards the end that is fairly disgusting and if the roles were reversed it would have been a completely different matter and controversy would of been through the roof (never mind the fact it's just an unfunny scene). And Christoph Waltz is totally wasted, he literally has nothing funny to do or say.
Remaining Films of 2014 I'll check out: Men, Women and Children. St. Vincent. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Dumb and Dumber To. Exodus: Gods and Kings. Big Eyes. Unbroken.
Best Films of the Year so far: Boyhood. Calvary. Mr. Turner. Mommy. Frank. Godzilla. Nightcrawler. Gone Girl. Interstellar. The Raid 2. The Rover. The LEGO Movie. Under the Skin.

Thought it was pretty good. If you enjoyed the first, you'll enjoy the second. I love all the actors, so it was just great seeing them all again. It does clearly feel like a bit of a cash grab (like the Hangover movies) but it was still pretty fun for me. My audience seemed to really enjoy it as well.
